Catch That Wave #2 (Magic Bone)

There is nothing about these books that I don’t like. My grandson’s school didn’t have these so I bought the first 3 books in the series for his school library. They are GREAT beginning readers for boys and girls but many aren’t written for boys so I love these. My grandson is also learning about different countries and we’ll be watching a tv show or movie and he’ll say Like in “Mary Poppins”, he pops up with thats where Big Ben is. He loves these books and so does his grandma. We share read them as he is able to read most of the books but is in First Grade. The best part is he wants to read them and he cracks up laughing while reading them. Thank you

My twins love this book series and the adventures of Magic Bone. Fun and easy read for 2nd graders.

My 7 year old nephew loves these books. He has a birthday coming up in a few months an absolutely says he wants more!!!!!! We love Sparky and look forward to seeing what he'll get up to next and where he will go.

I liked the part where he went surfing. I liked that he did the hula. I like how he went to Maui.

My 8 year old son loves animals, loves fantasy, but is a reluctant reader. This is the first series that I have found that he really and truly loves! The time traveling dog is right up his alley! He has read the 3 books we have over and over, and is very anxiously awaiting the release of he 4th.

My 2nd grader enjoys this series. She likes the dog as a main character. This book is a step up from the easiest chapter books, but not so difficult that it overwhelms. It has enough pictures scattered throughout to please my kiddo who isn't ready to read books without pictures yet.

This is a adventure book with Sparky and Josh. This book is about a dog named Sparky that has a magic bone that takes him anywhere. Sparky loses his bone what does he do?

I'm 7 years old and I like this book better than the first book. It's more adventurous. Hope you like it too.
