The packaging this pinboard comes in is great, it was specifically made for the board. It comes in an outer box with clear fragile labeling, another layer of cardboard inside wrapped perfectly around the corkboard for a damage buffer, and even a note inside from the seller to contact them if anything happened during shipping. Some of the best shipping packaging I've seen in a long time.The board itself is also great. I love that the hooks are preinstalled, it's lightweight, and the backside of the board is a blue tight-knitted fabric. Really gives the whole thing a nice quality feel. The thickness seems perfect for my enamel pin collecting. A quality product that I read through so many listings to find. Thanks!

This item was shipped quickly and was perfect for a medical office. It comes with tacks and has wall hangers that can be removed fairly easy. I prefer to hang items with command strips to avoid holes in the wall and this board is light enough for that. Overall a nice little bulletin board.

small but doable

First of all, I love the fact that this product is from a small American business. Let's support them! But the main reason I ordered from them was that I wanted an easy installation and they have found a simple ingenious way to hang a cork board. As illustrated by the photos, it comes with the hooks on the top that can easily be placed on the wall with pins that doesn't require any hammering or screwdrivers. Simple and easy!It is a durable product, but I wish they would have had a bigger size. Definitely would buy from them again. It was shipped in a box INSIDE of another box to ensure that it wouldn't be damaged, and it even came with a flyer that said they would replace it for free if the product was damaged during shipment.Thanks so much for a great product! Just starting to fill it up now, but I am enjoying it very much. Also came with free pins!!Awesome!

I bought this product after searching for "best bulletin boards," desperate to find a good quality board that was affordable and thick enough to have pins pushed all the way in. I bought one from a different company before this one and was disappointed to find out how little of the board's thickness was cork when the pin only went in halfway. When this board arrived, it was in perfect condition and fit all the criteria I was looking for at a great price point. Unfortunately, I put it up with command hooks that weren't strong enough, and the board fell, and one of its plastic corners chipped. I remembered it has a "lifetime warranty" and emailed the company, Navy Penguin, on their website to ask about possibly getting a replacement. I received a response from the CEO, Tomas Mraz, in a short time, and he quickly asked me for my information so he could send a free replacement. I didn't even have to send the broken board back. The new board arrived in less than three days. I cannot recommend this board from this company enough.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It is very well made, looks and feels sturdy, and has hooks already attached for hanging. To me, this was the best option available on Amazon. I looked in stores also, and the product I received is better that anything I found in the local stores. I used Command hooks to hang, so we'll have to see how those hold up over time. I might have to actually put nails or hooks into the wall, but for now the hooks are holding the board just fine. It's a little on the small side (16 in by 12 in) compared to some that I looked at, good for personal use; it might not be big enough for office or school use, but I didn't want anything too big. They do have a larger option available.The back of it is covered, which prevents the tacks from hitting the wall behind it. Many of the ones I considered did not have backing, or looked cheaply made-- not the case with this one. It is exactly as it was described on Amazon, and in the various positive reviews. I knew from these reviews that it really only hangs up longways ('landscape', not 'portrait'), but that's what I wanted. It could be made to hang the other way with some adjustments. I would buy this one again if, or when, we need another. It's not the cheapest option, but not expensive either, and it's worth what I paid for it.

Although I liked the board the hangers are on backwards and cannot be hung, I checked the pictures on the item just to be sure and they hooks are on the cork side instead of on the blue side. I will need to see if I can take them off without damaging them and turn them around or I will need to send it back.

This was perfect for fridge organizer!
