Works great

This little fan is the coolest (no pun intended) if you are like me and sleep hot or can’t sleep without background noise this is the perfect fan for camping, boating, or whatever else you could use it for. Also love the light feature.

This is easily portable. We hung it inside our tent at the beach. The fan kept the heat dissipated all day, which made it easier to stay at the beach longer. I'm looking forward to taking it camping this summer, as I anticipate the fan will help keep mosquitos at bay. The light has a brightness variable. We were also able to use it as a reading lamp in our hotel room.

Taking my indoor daughter camping required a light for her to read by. This light did a great job illuminating our 10 x 9 tent using only the lower brightness setting. We haven't used the fan yet (temps never got above 65F on our 3-night trip), but I like that the speed settings include low, high and intermittent.Removing the base to insert batteries was a bit tricky the first time. I have small hands that could barely reach across the base. Using my old standby for removing jar lids and such, I grabbed a pair of rubber gloves and got the base off easily. I had bought an 8-pack of D batteries, inserted 4 and took the rest along just in case. I never needed to replace batteries and we had the light on for 1-3 hrs per night (sunset during our trip was a little after 9 pm).The light/fan is a bit heavy with batteries installed and it's a bit large overall, so I wouldn't recommend to backpack campers, but for car campers like us, we love it!

We bought this for camping. I was very pleased with the life expectancy and how well it performed to keep the tent cooled down and how well it lit up. I wish it had a remote though.

Workes ok you can feel the air coming from it we mounted it on top of our RTT, during the night it was very quiet once it started to get warm it does become useless but I guess that's expected.overall I would recommend it does make it comfortable to sleep on a slightly warm night.

PROS:The light was bright, and even on low, we rarely needed it higher than that in a "6 person tent."The pop-up hook was great for hanging it from the hook on the top of the inside of our tent and easily folded for packing or sitting uptight in the table.The fan feature is part of why I purchased this particular model, as opposed to just a hanging light model. It did feel nice, but only at higher speeds once you were lying down on air mattresses in a 5-6 foot tall tent.The caveat, it was 90-95 the whole week with heat indexes over 105 and very high humidity, so even the huge powerful fan we brought wasn't sufficient until it "cooled off" to about 80 at night.CONSThe most substantial one is the battery life combined with the inability to charge it another way!If I had been aware of that when I was placing my order, I would have looked elsewhere; I just didn't read close enough to see that the model I chose was the battery one.There really should be a battery and charger option via a USB cord!The battery life can be as short as 8 hours if you're using the fan a lot, so I cannot recommend this battery model for its fan function based on that alone.

Light is bright enough to move around at night Battery life ? Using cheap batteries so far. Doesn’t use a lot of power to run continuously

I bought this for when the kids and I go camping, the tent get hot and stuffy around the time my little guy goes down for his nap. I'm always worried about him in there but now I can relax. This fan is powerful enough to keep the air circulating in the tent and cools it off just enough. I love the different speeds, bonus is the build in light as well. Lights up the whole tent at night not need for any other light. If you're a tent camper like me this is sp worth it. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because I find the plastic hook on the bottom is a cheap. Other than that I love it!

Fans are lightweight and bright, received broken and should be packaged better for shipping.Will be a great addition to the ice fishing tent.Fan has three speeds which is nice.
