The comfortable handle, sturdy stainless, and balance made this a perfect fit.

It’s a tad heavy, but you don’t have to worry about its lack of quality or being able to stand the pressure in the real world use environment.

This is a nice sturdy strainer spoon. Nice weight to it. However not sure of heat transfer from spoon basket to metal handle during use,since it is an all metal spoon. I plan to use it frequently.

I bought this spoon primarily for scooping food like shrimp out of boiling water. It creates less splash and drip clean up than using a wire basket. It is also good when cooking in a wok. It is a dedicated part of my barbeque/outdoor cooking tools and never is stored in a kitchen drawer so I really do not care that it is kind of big. I am very happy with my purchase.
