Excellent kit, but do your research.
I used to have 00g sized lobes but let the piercings relax without jewelry for several years. Now I miss my old jewelry and need to size up again since they've shrunk. My photo is of their current 2g size. This stretching kit matches the description, is nicely machined with no sharp edges, and the material causes no skin irritation (at least for me). All in all a good product. I am only awarding four stars, however, because the way these are packaged and presented promotes irresponsible stretching. Tapers are tools, not jewelry. There should only be one taper per size and it need not be colored or come with elastic. You will damage your ears and have uneven stretching if you wear tapers. Here's an example of good lobe-stretching practice at home: wash your taper and tunnels one size up from your current gauge. Remove your current jewelry and gently wash your lobes. Coat your earlobes, taper, and tunnels with jojoba oil or other lubricant. Push the taper gently but firmly through one lobe, following directly with the tunnel. Apply elastic to the back of the tunnel. Repeat with the other ear. Let your ears heal for at least one month before sizing up again.I could have saved myself a lot of grief with these instructions and hope you take them to heart.

No complaints about the kit, just my silly mistakes!
Totally happy with this kit! F138 is non-porus and the single flared plugs are great for stretching. Plus, aren't they pretty? :) I made some dumb mistakes along the way and hope you can learn from them! I started with a regular 18G mall piercing done at 13. I bought this set and stretched to the final 10MM (00G). While stretching, after having 6MM (2G) in for 6 weeks, I decided to push my luck and see if I could skip 8 MM (0G) and go straight to 10MM (00G). After putting in the first 10MM taper, I felt a sharp pain and began bleeding (which should never happen when stretching). I immediately treated it with a sea salt soak and healed quickly. Lesson learned! Over two years later I made it to 12MM (1/2") stretching with glass. I didn't plan on stretching larger for a while. Two months at 12MM, thinking I was healed, I bought acrylic plugs that I thought looked neat. Surprise! I ended up with an infection. My lobes we're swollen, in pain, and had discharge. I had to get an antibiotic from my doctor and leave all jewelry out for a while. Within a week of wearing no jewelry in my ear, I kid you not, the holes shrunk back to 10G. I was bummed because it took so long to stretch to 12MM, but also thankful that my ears were able to heal. I hear 6-8MM is the point of no return, but everyone is different! I credit my long stretching process. After a year I decided to stretch again. I had to buy another stretching set because I lost most of the first. I'm back at 10MM and moving to 11MM (7/16") in a few weeks. I'm doing just fine now!My stretching process was to wait the appropriate time, take out my old plugs, get in a hot shower (it helps!), Clean and and massage my ears, get out and insert the taper using jojoba oil, then immidiately insert the plug. My daily care routine consisted of washing my plugs and ears daily as well as jojoba massages. Some don't sleep with their plugs in after a certain poimty but I had to. I heal very fast. Can I give you some unsolicited advice? When you switch sizes, try to put your tapers and plugs back into appropriate baggie. I lost most of mine because I didn't do this. It'll save you from buying another set. PLEASE don't rush your stretching, skip sizes, or wear your tapers as jewelry! There are tons of guides and tips out there! I got lucky with my stupid mistakes and didn't cause bad damage to my ears. Be careful and happy stretching! :D

One of the best ways to stretch.
I've stretched my ears past 00 4 times now in over 10 years. Blowouts are far less common when using stainless and surgical steel tapers than any other material. This is due to the skin not sticking to metal as easily as polyurethane, PVC, ABS, wood, or any other taper material. Ear stretching works by forcing the love to stretch, causing the skin to start "healing" to the new shape. Healing skin will stick to just about anything however it sticks to metal the least. Stainless or surgical steel has the lowest risk of causing infection or the metal corroding, both are qualities that you definitely want.

Great quality at a very reasonable price.
Great quality at a very reasonable price.Stretching your ears is a pain, there's no getting around that. I'm a tattoo artist and my wife is a collector, so we're both very interested in the body modification industry. I haven't been interested in piercings since my early college days, so I left my ears at 6g for almost a decade before I decided to try stretching again. This kit is fantastic for the price. You receive some very nice stainless tapers in pairs, true to size, along with stainless tunnels and o-rings for everything. My wife stretched up to 0g and I'm now at 2g with minimal effort.I'm a big fan of the "slow taper" method of stretching (not a huge fan of pain), so I have used smaller o-rings from other sets to hold a taper in place before I was able to push it all the way through. This has worked great so far, but I expect a bit of trouble with the 0g tapers. At 0g, the taper is rather short compared to the end diameter, meaning it's very weighted toward the front of the taper. We shall see how well it works for me, but that was my wife's only complaint with this kit.

Why did I not just go with these initially?!?
I bought seperately each time I went up a level. I wish I had just gotten these and saved myself the trouble. They are separated by size and I love that they come with the stretchers and plugs for each size. Delivery was also fast, it came early!! If you are considering these, do it. Its all here in a one time buy and will save you trouble trying to hunt down different sizes while trying to not spend a fortune.

They're awesome except the rubber rings that are suppose to keep ...
They come in individual baggies with the size on it which is convenient. They're awesome except the rubber rings that are suppose to keep them on fall off continuously which makes keeping the tapered ones in hard especially when sleeping. Other than that I love them and they work well.

Wrong sizes in bags.
Went to stretch from 4g to 2g tonight only to realize that I received one 2g tunnel and one 4g tunnel instead of two 2g tunnels.

Great!
All of them came, there were no missing pieces whatsoever. I used them on my boyfriends ears and they're great. The colour looks exactly as the photos. Just as you get up to 0g, the tapers themselves are rather heavy. 4/5 stars because I love them :)
