Great quality paper and a lot of problems to solve in one page.
Great for everyday practice. I like that they have the sections outline. It's easier for them to add and not get confused.

place value columns
To begin and understand double, triple, etc digit addition/subtraction place value mechanics.... "lined" place value columns make it easier for VERY beginning elementary students to keep numbers in correct place value places.. AND even to regroup/borrow or carry. Numbers are bold printed. Also, if student does NOT have math facts totally memorized....use a in/cm ruler as a number lines to quickly find answers. Number line use, place value answers, learned by problem solving these problems. thanks for great product for homeschooling. Easy to Moderate difficulty for first, second grade depending on the student's ability and need for challenge level and age/grade level. Thanks for a great product for homeschooling.

Hoped for a slower start
The quality of this workbook is great. I had been hoping for a a few days at the beginning of the book with no regrouping so we could build confidence, but page 1 question 1 requires regrouping. We will just skip over these questions for a few days and then go back to them, so it's not a deal breaker. In fairness, thr book is titled "Addition and Subtraction -Learn to Regroup," but adding without regrouping seems like a fairly logical step jn mastering double digit addition and subtraction, to me. Looking forward to using this book for practice.

Def would recommend for anyone who’s kiddo is struggling with adding/subtracting double digits!
This book is SUPER! We homeschool our first grader and noticed a lot of the curriculum math books only have 1-2 pages of practice for each lesson. This was not nearly enough for them to retain and practice the material. We bought this book as a supplement to help build their confidence with adding/subtracting double/triple digits. After assigning one page per day for 2 weeks they are now pros and mastering adding double digits and subtracting double digits so well!! Def would recommend for anyone who’s kiddo is struggling with adding/subtracting double digits! There’s enough practice for them to really gain an understanding. The spacing is immaculate and the answers in the back make checking the work super easy.
