Love this tool. Perfect we’re digging thru clay and weeds and using to plant flowers. It’s easier to break through with the serrated edge. Bought one for use and one for gift. The leather sheath is top quality. This is a tool that will last for years and has a good iron quality. Buy it again!

I love this tool. Be careful, it is very sharp and I intend to keep it that way. I have had trouble with some weeding tools bending when taking up weeds. This tool is a solid addition to my weed fighting war.

I am very pleased with this gardening tool. It is strong and appears to be well made.

Pros: This Hori Hori is forged with a higher quality 440 grade stainless steel as opposed to most Hori Hori's that use a lower grade 420 stainless steel or 3Cr13 stainless steel which is equivalent to grade 420 by chemical composition and physical properties. It's sturdy and comfortable in the hand and comes with an adequate leather sheath. Cons: The sharping stone is basically useless for this tool, it's really only good for sharpening small pocket knives and that okay with me, I have a nice sharpening stone just right for the job and I would have still bought this Hori Hori at $29.95 without the sharpening stone. The profile is not straight and the handle has a small gouge that was there before the handle was stained so, the quality of craftsmanship lacks attention to detail. Summary: Over-all you get what you pay for and for what you get it's still worth the price. What sold me and probably the most important aspect is there were no 1 or 2 star reviews with reports of broken blades as opposed to almost all other Hori Hori reviews of different brands that have several reports of broken blades. The minute flaws will not affect the performance so, I recommend this product to anyone and would buy it again.

This tool is overall great it's just a little difficult getting in and out of the sheath because it's so sharp it kind of catches on the material, but can't complain. Very nice quality tool, works great!

Beautiful instrument. This is now my go to for eradicating weeds, planting seedlings and any gardening task that would require a spade.Love the quality and the sheath, which is leather, can be looped to your belt for gardening ease.
