Our previous one was damaged in our house move, we missed knowing the true temp outside, great display which lets you know the weather outside and the temp inside.

Model YC 9387. A very extensive professional home weather station with a comprehensive and clear colour indoor display showing every statistic that you would ever need. There are max / min values for all data, which can be cleared / reset individually as you wish. Highly customisable so you can view the data in the format that you prefer. Eg Temp in deg c or deg f, wind speed in metric or imperial units, choice of pressure units, etc. WiFi connection to the internet so the clock is always in sync and with auto adjust for summer time etc., also join one or both of the recommended online weather servers to view your data on your PC or on a smartphone when away from home. A very clear easy-to-follow printed manual is provided, written in "proper" English. There are several Youshiko models, so I would suggest that you view them on their web site and download the manual before purchase, so that you get the model best suited to your requirements. The outdoor unit can be mounted on a flat surface, screwed vertically to a facia or mounted on a pole, as you wish. Customer service helped me very promptly and diagnosed and identified an internet connection difficulty, which was entirely due to my PC setup and nothing to do with the weather station. Hint: If your PC is connected by ethernet cable and you have a problem, then disconnect it temporarily, connect by WiFi and follow the instructions in the manual (page 9 & 10) to setup the Weather Server Connection. When this is all completed, you can reconnect the ethernet cable. Highly recommended.

Really easy to put together out of the box and screws supplied for fitting to the top of a fence post. There was another fitting for a pole which I did not use.The screen looks great with loads of info. Although at fist the screen looks very busy and crammed with info after a few minutes the info soon becomes very easy to read at a glance.Setting up the app and account did cause us a few problems and was a bit frustrating but once set up and connected it seems to work well and is really good.Accuracy seems very good to me and overall I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to other weather watchers.

The media could not be loaded. Just received and installed my first personal weather station this week and very impressed. The unit is Much smaller than I expected. The setup instructions included with the unit were super easy to follow and written in English. Connecting the unit to my WiFi and then to weather underground and weather cloud was easy. I used an iPad for the setup and this worked really well. I could have used a mobile phone for setup too. I would have liked to update the firmware as per the instructions before installation but to date have not been able to find a link anywhere to the firmware updates. The home display is fantastic and the wireless connection between the station and the info panel hasn’t missed a beat. Still haven’t figured out how to turn the display off whilst still having WiFi connectivity though. Overall, this is a very well thought out station. I’ve included a pic to show my mounting. If I get 3 years trouble free from it I’ll be very happy. If it fails within one or two years I’ll be disappointed. I recommend this unit to any weather enthusiasts out there Looking for their first weather station.

I Purchased this system as it allows for connection to the internet. The comprehensive instruction manual is well laid out and I recommend reading it fully before proceeding with the set up. I struggled with how to transmit my router password to the base station, mainly because I didn't read the instructions! To do so you need to have an account with a weather website, I chose Weather Underground (WU). Thereafter the set up process is simple, the instructions even include the link to your own router which enables the pass word transfer. I did have some issues with WU in terms of telling it where I was and opted for the manual address entry which is done by moving the Google maps cursor to your own location; it couldn't be simpler.During the set up and before fully understand the process I spoke to the vendor at least five times. They could not have been more helpful and willing to explain points I was struggling with. I'm delighted with the system and would recommend it to anyone who wants more information. All the data collected by my station is available on the WU website, it's excellent. Brilliant kit and excellent customer service from the vendor.
