It will help encourage me to continue my real reviews of products I've purchased.Pros: * Good Price * Solid Construction * Litter sifts through easily * Cuts time to clean box in half over comparable plastic scoop * Fits my bucket even though tad larger than hard plastic scoop it is replacing * Well balanced feelCons: * Even though this scoop was cleaned it is obvious it is a returned product. I paid for NEW and should have received a discount for USED. Lacquer is failing and water stains on product from being washed. (Prefer that it was washed though thank you.) Wrinkled and stain on label indicate prior use. * There are a few machining flaws in product too on the lip. * Obvious that other hands have gripped my not new Litter Scoop.Okay with all these "CONS" would I buy this again. Yes I would buy again it works well and is marked improvement over even heavy weight plastic. A big improvement over plastic scoops. This one is very sturdy and works great, but I took a star off because the handle has a strange flimsy bend in it, and the rounded nibs at the front of the scoop make it less effective at scraping the bottom of the litter box.

Disappointed. The rake part is quite large actually. But my issue is with the handle. It's weak?! It bent/broke after 1 week of use. Can't use any longer. I think there's other reviews on here that mentioned the same issue. Avoid this. Honestly, there's so many other options. I ended up buying a $2 cheap plastic one at target. It will do the job just fine.

I had been using a non stick scoop, which didn't do it's non-stick job (the seller suggested to make it non-stick that I swab it with corn oil!) Also, the non-stick material came off. Therefore, I went looking for a NOT non-stick model.I found this one, and it works great. The little "claws" as I will call them, at the edge of the scoop, work well for getting stuff up. As for cleaning, even with the infamous non-stick scoop, I just soak the scoop in a bucket of water/vinegar/dish soap over night, and it's all clean come morning.So, don't go for the non-stick one, buy this instead. It costs less and works much better. This is the second one I've bought now, as the first passed its test with flying colours, so now I've got one for back up when the other is in for a soaking clean.

I bought this scoop because most cat litter scoops have SQUARE edges when most cat boxes have ROUNDED corners! (Still trying to figure that one out.) Anyway, since my cats have a habit of soiling in the corners, the square scoops are frustrating and makes cleaning the box a hassle. This scoop works great in the corners and is also very strong, so scooping a large amount of litter in deep litter is no problem. I also like that the sides are solid, so when you have 'debris' that too small to be scooped, I can use the sides to get those little chunks out of the box.

Pros: The scoop is very wide and can gather a lot at one time. Despite it being metal, the edges are well rounded so it isn't cutting up the bags inside the litter box.Cons: Scoop is so large that it doesn't fit inside scoop enclosures I already had (Not the manufacturers fault though). Also, the metal handle goes about half way into the rubber handle, so on heavy scoops, it feels like the metal is going to pop out of the handle. It hasn't yet, it just feels that way when the rubber bends.Overall, I've still been happy with the scoop

Edited to say this scooper has really surprised me and held up incredibly well! I'm changing my review to 5 stars.I love how big this scooper is but the handle is flimsy. I know they made it flexible for a reason but they basically cut the metal off just below where the rubber begins. This being said, if I end up having a super messy litter that needs good grip, I feel like this would break off

What a difference! So I go through a cheap .88 litter scoop every 2 months. They seem to break at the most inconvenient times too. In my pictures I've compared my old scoop (which you can see the bend marks and breakage in the plastic) to this new metal one. The spacing between the slots is the same, but I'm not sure if it appears this way or not but on this metal scoop, it is about twice as deep to hold more litter at once . Now the handle I'm a little unsure on. There seems to be a bend in the handle under the rubber grip . I can feel it flexing when I am doing a big job if you know what I mean. I'd prefer if it was more solid so I'm hoping it holds up. I can easily clean the litter twice as fast now (I do use clumping litter) and really scrape down the sides and bottom. So far so good I'm glad I purchased this.
