Review: Their Best Offering Yet! - Escape the Fate is incredibly talented band with much creativity and originality to offer the metal scene. I will first admit that I much prefer Craig as the lead singer mainly because his clean vocal skills are superior to those of Radke and his screams have come a long way on this record. I was not incredibly impressed with their self-titled record even though it displayed a desire to change, be unique, and be inventive, I just don't think they pulled it off. This record however displays a more metalcore/heavy metal sound, heavier than their previous two records. The songs are well crafted, feature impressive guitar riffs and catchy lyrics that have a powerful message. I will now do a song by song review, enjoy. 1. "Ungrateful" 9/10 - At first I didn't like this song, but it grew on me and ETF proved to me that they could still be very heavy and not sound like crap. The riffs are heavy, the screams are dark, the lyrics are meaningful, it's a great song. 2. "Until We Die" 10/10 - This song I immediately liked because the riffs were catchy, the lyrics fit well with the rhythm, it's just a great song. I really like the piano breakdown, the guitar solo, and the open string bends at the end of the song, awesome track. 3. "Live Fast, Die Beautiful" 10/10 - One of my favorite songs on the record, awesome riff to start off the song. This might be my favorite off the record. The chorus is really catchy, I can listen to this song all day. Get It! 4. "Forget About Me" 8/10 - This song displays a more This War is Ours sound, the opening riff is great, the verse is not my favorite, but the chorus really picks it up and turns this song around. I like it but it's not my favorite song. The guitar solo is great, good song, not great. 5. "You're Insane" 9/10 - I really liked this song when it came out because the opening riff is awesome, the video to the song kept me enthralled, I just really like a good riff I guess. The lyrics are nothing incredibly special but the whole tone of the song is perfect for the lyrics. 6. "Chemical Love" 10/10 - An electronic song that doesn't completely lose itself in the electronics. I love the lyrics, I love the riffs once again and overall beat of the song is very catchy. The chorus is one of the best on the record, love this song. 7. "Picture Perfect" 8/10 - It's not a bad song but certainly has a formulaic sound, similar to a ballad written by Fall Out Boy (ironic considering that Patrick Stump helped write the song). It just doesn't sound like Escape the Fate that much, it's not a bad song, it would work better on a Nickelback record. 8. "Risk it All" 9/10 - This song is filled with hard riffs, a classic Escape the Fate song with a fun beat, heavy guitars, and sing along lyrics. I like this song a lot because it doesn't try to be anything but an 'anthem' song for the fans. 9. "Desire" 10/10 - I love the guitars in this song, I love the lyrics, this is one of those songs that I'm not sure why I like so much. It's just a great song. 10."One For The Money" 8/10 - I would love this song so much more if it wasn't for the lyrics in the chorus. I hate the cliché line referring to one for the money, two for the show...I hate that! I love the riffs, I love the power of the vocals. It's just a personal opinion, most fans really like this song though. 11. "Fire It Up" 10/10 - A heavy song to end the record with, guess what, the riffs are awesome. Gotta love a great song with some strong screams, it's a terrific song, one of the best on the record. The chorus is catchy as hell. 12. "I Alone" 8/10 - It's a great song, unfortunately the lyrics suffer a little bit. The rhyming is very poor and the lyrics are generic but the overall message is nice and the musicianship is excellent. Overall a good track. 13. "Father, Brother" 10/10 - Now this is a bonus track, the lyrics have improved from the last song and overall it's just an amazing song with a nice electronic flare, a catchy chorus, and some powerful vocals. I highly recommend this record to true ETF fans who have stuck with the band through tough times. I appreciate all their records even though the Mabbitt era is much better than the Radke era. Their is so much more diversity in Craig's musical abilities and the songs are just whole and better crafted. They keep getting better in my opinion, I love this offering.
Review: Fantastic Album - I listened to their entire album for the first time on Alternative Press' website a few days before it was released; the sound was different than before and I didn't like it. I did, however, find myself singing their songs in my head in the days that followed, in particular Picture Perfect. I was disappointed that I had not liked this album as much as their previous work and decided to listen to it again to fully understand why. After giving it a second run through I realized that Escape the Fate had grown during their three year hiatus and I began to appreciate their new sound. Monte's guitar solos are phenomenal and are my favorite part of each song. Craig's vocals are amazing as always, same applies to Robert and the drums. TJ and Michael are also wonderful additions to Escape the Fate, keeping the band together and running. The album, as a whole, seems to be a bit more unified than their self titled album. The lyrics felt more personal and meaningful than before allowing one to relate to it more than "Escape the Fate". Overall, the album is marvelous and I highly recommend purchasing it for yourself.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it! Dvd "Live Roxy" included is amazing
*by C***E on August 20, 2013*

Escape the Fate are back.. to make some noise!!! ;) In "Deluxe Version" that I've bought is accluded the Dvd "Live at Roxy". The CD is energic, pure rock.. but the live is unbelievable!! The band is completly magic, drummer and vocalist offer a show into a show. The atmosphere during all the concert is reckless, out of control, People scream and sing. vote: 10 stars/ 10 After all, if the ETF move to my city.. probably I would to try a "stage diving" with the band!
