Rock-Solid Protection, Perfect for Travel and Gear-Heavy Shoots
The Nanuk 935 Pro Photo Kit is hands-down one of the best hard cases I’ve used for camera gear. Build quality is outstanding—this thing feels absolutely bombproof. It’s fully waterproof, dustproof, and impact resistant, which gives real peace of mind when traveling or working on location. The padded divider system is excellent. It’s easy to customize, holds its shape well, and securely fits multiple camera bodies, lenses, batteries, and accessories without things shifting around. The interior space is very efficient for a carry-on-sized case. One of my favorite features is the smooth-rolling wheels and extendable handle. Navigating airports, parking lots, or rough floors is effortless. Despite how rugged it is, it remains airline carry-on approved, which is a huge plus for flights. The latches are sturdy and easy to open, even with gloves, and the pressure-release valve works perfectly when flying. Compared to other hard cases, Nanuk really nails the balance between durability, usability, and professional design. If you’re serious about protecting expensive camera gear—especially for travel—this case is absolutely worth the investment. ⸻

Reliable and Professional-Grade: NANUK 935 Pro Photo Kit Review
The NANUK 935 Pro Photo Kit is an exceptional case for photographers and videographers looking to protect their gear. Here’s what I’ve experienced with it: Design and Durability The build quality of this hard case is outstanding. It’s made from lightweight but incredibly durable materials, offering military-grade protection against shocks, water, and dust. The waterproof sealing is excellent—I had no concerns using this in rainy conditions. The sleek black design looks professional and understated, ideal for traveling with expensive equipment. Interior Organization The padded dividers are customizable, making it easy to arrange the compartments to fit my specific camera bodies, lenses, and accessories. The dividers provide a snug fit, keeping everything securely in place during transport. The lid organizer is another big win—it’s perfect for storing smaller items like cables, SD cards, and filters while keeping them accessible. Portability With sturdy wheels and an extendable pull handle, the case glides smoothly and feels comfortable to maneuver. It’s perfectly sized for carry-on luggage on most airlines, which is a lifesaver for traveling photographers. Despite its tough exterior, the weight is manageable, even when fully loaded. Security The PowerClaw latching system is easy to use and ensures the case stays tightly sealed. The case is also TSA lock-compatible, providing peace of mind for air travel. Pros • Rugged, waterproof, and dustproof construction • Customizable padded dividers for secure gear organization • Lid organizer is perfect for smaller accessories • Smooth-rolling wheels and ergonomic handle for easy portability • Meets carry-on requirements for most airlines • TSA lock compatibility for travel security Cons • Slightly higher price point, but the quality justifies it • Could benefit from slightly larger compartments for bulkier lenses Final Thoughts The NANUK 935 Pro Photo Kit is a top-tier case that delivers exceptional protection and functionality. Whether you’re a professional photographer or an enthusiast with high-end gear, this case offers unmatched peace of mind. The rugged design, smart organization options, and travel-friendly features make it worth every penny. I’d highly recommend this to anyone serious about keeping their equipment safe. Rating: 5/5

Perfect camera case!
I'm a professional photographer. I bought this specifically for traveling with my camera gear, shooting on location for events, and protecting my gear when not in use. I've never bought a camera case before and have always been a camera bag/backpack kind of person. I had never heard of this brand before and was originally looking at Pelican cases. I'm so glad I found this case instead! I bought the case with the lid organizer and the customizable padded dividers. It took me a little while to get all the dividers where I wanted them, but it was a very easy process. I expected to have to install the lid organizer myself. To my surprise, it came already installed. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a solid camera case. Pros: -Appearance. This case looks sleek and professional. The materials are high quality and sturdy. Easy to clean if the outside gets dirty. -Quality latches. There's no confusion about whether your case is closed/locked or not. This gives me peace of mind that I won't pick up my case and have all of my gear fall out. Latches feel very secure. The lock holes for TSA locks line up perfectly. -Adjustable handle. I'm tall and hate when luggage handles are too short, leading to the case hitting your heels as you're dragging it behind. This handle has two different lengths, making it perfect for any height. Handle has a release button so it doesn't come out unless you need it to. -Lid Organizer. This is an absolute lifesaver. I love the lid organizer. I saw other reviews that said the zippers weren't high-quality. That was not my experience at all. Zippers work perfectly and the pouches are all see-through so I can clearly spot any piece of gear I need. The lid organizer also extends forward so you can put thing in the back between the organizer and the underside of the case lid. I didn't use all the padded dividers, so I put them there. You could easily store extra wires, cables, or paperwork in that section too. -Wheels. The wheels are smooth and sturdy. I don't feel like they're going to pop off or break when I'm rolling the case around. I've taken this thing over asphalt and gravel and it's still holding up great. -Two handles: Allows for you to carry it however you want. CONS: -Weight. It's a little heavy, weighing nearly 12 pounds when it's empty. After I put all my camera gear in it, it's significantly heavier. I personally don't mind this, but it means that I have to roll the case on its wheels if it's full and I plan on taking it long distances. Might be inconvenient to get into an overhead bin if you're using it as a carry-on. Overall, I absolutely love this thing. I love being able to securely lock my gear and not having to worry about anyone messing with it. I'm very pleased with this case and you should get it if you're a photographer who is looking for a practical solution for lugging a lot of gear with you.

Can't live without it but took some time to get used to it
Great piece of equipment. Fits 2 bodies, 3 lenses, 2 flashes, and some accessories. Easy to open/close, convenient handles. Sturdy af. The only downside is stability when you roll it. Not sure if it's the position of the wheels or their size that is not enough. Indoors? No questions, smooth ride. Outdoors on even slightly bumpy roads, it gets wobbly. I've found the way to roll it without tripping, but it was a learning curve. 100% happy with the purchase, just thought it would be fair to mention the lone flaw.

Excellent Case!
I recently purchased the Nanuk 935 Pro Photo Kit, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and quality. This waterproof carry-on hard case with a lid organizer and padded divider, along with wheels, is a must-have for any serious photographer. First and foremost, the durability of this case is outstanding. It is built like a tank, ensuring that all my gear remains safe and secure, no matter the conditions. The waterproof feature provides an extra layer of protection, giving me peace of mind when traveling in unpredictable weather. The lid organizer and padded divider are thoughtfully designed, making it easy to keep my equipment organized and accessible. The compartments are customizable, allowing me to fit various lenses, bodies, and accessories perfectly. The added wheels and retractable handle make transporting the case a breeze, especially through airports and on location shoots. One of the standout features is the balance between robustness and portability. While it offers top-notch protection, it remains lightweight enough to carry as a carry-on. This combination of sturdiness and convenience is rare and highly appreciated. Overall, the Nanuk 935 Pro Photo Kit is an excellent investment for any photographer looking to protect their valuable equipment. It offers exceptional durability, smart organization, and ease of transport, making it the ideal travel companion for all my photography adventures. Highly recommended!

Almost perfect camera case!
As a professional wedding photographer, I've used many bags and cases over the years. From Lowepro, Tamrac, Think Tank, SKB, you name it. In my day to day setup, I have 2 Canon R6's with battery grips, a sigma 50mm 1.4, Canon EF 85mm 1.4, Canon RF 14-35 f4, EF 100mm Macro 2.8L, EF70-200 2.8L II, RF 35mm 1.8 Macro, a pocket LED light, 2 Godox wireless transmitters, 2 Godox speed lights, a Godox AD200 on a Manfrotto Nano stand, and a Think Tank belt with a few pouches. Add to that the wedding timelines and photo permits, 2 extra camera batteries, memory cards, an extra speed light battery, and some snacks, and my load out is quite heavy. Until recently, I was using the SKB/Thinktank collaboration case without the lid organizer and it served me pretty well, however the wheels were getting worn and sand had gotten into the handle assembly making it feel gritty. I was looking at just getting another one, (this time with the lid organizer), but the Nanuk 935 just happened to be on sale for Black Friday at a price I couldn't pass up! Normally the Nanuk stuff is a bit more expensive than the SKB cases, and as it turns out, finding an SKB case with the correct Think Tank inserts was hard to find at the time. So, in direct comparison to the SKB/Think Tank case, here are my pros/cons about the Nanuk 935: Likes: -Handle extends more, so I can have more distance between my heel and the case. It also is pretty sturdy and has 2 positions that click into place -The grab handle softly retracts back into place (the SKB case doesn't do that) -It fits nearly all my gear with the supplied dividers (one speed light and my AD-200 on a stand do not fit, though it was the same with the SKB case) -The lid organizer is great, the zippers open and close easily and the pouches are translucent, allowing for quick locating of items. The expanding velcro tabs on the corners make it easy to create more depth for thicker laptops, or tightening down for storing documents. -The wheels are pretty quiet, though I haven't had the case long enough to know if they are long lasting -The latches, they're great and have a good positive hold where the case won't accidentally open if caught on something. (The SKB case is also very good, but lacks a spring loaded lock) Dislikes: - The plastic of the case is somewhat soft and easily scratched. Not a big deal, but I feel that the SKB case weathered the abuse much better. - The depth of the case. As it stands, if this case was just 1.5" deeper it would fit all my gear perfectly. The Canon R6 with battery grip protrudes a bit above the dividers, and my 100mm Macro as well when inserted vertically. If they ever make a case that's deeper I will buy it! - The latch on the retractable handle is made for right handed people. I'm a lefty, so I would have liked either an ambidextrous handle or an option to buy a lefty handle. I've gotten used to it, but when in a rush there is a bit of fiddling happening. All in all this is a really good case, and it works well for what I need. This case may not work well for people of smaller stature, as the case is a bit on the heavy side. This is definitely a case for working professionals though, and will serve most people well.

Perfect Carry-On for Photo and Drone Gear
This case is exactly what I was looking for to safely carry my laptop, drone, camera gear, and related electronics when having to travel by air. I had previously used a backpack for that purpose, but it just didn’t feel protective enough anymore, particularly for my laptop. This Nanuk case seems very well made and it came with both dividers for the main compartment and an organizer/laptop sleeve for the top. When compared to other options available, the included divers and sleeve made it a great bargain. Zero regrets about my purchase and expect to use this case for many, many years.

Protects all your gear in a small carry on case
Just took this on my first trip and I love it! Holds my two camera bodies, my 600mm zoom lens and my 200mm zoom lens and my 35mm with the filter cases. Carry on sized. Empty it is not too heavy. Fully loaded with gear it was too heavy for European carry on allowances, but it is small, so they usually don’t weigh it. Protects everything, even in the baggage hold. Fully adjustable interior makes it easy for any configuration. I got the Nanuk locks too, which made me super confident everything would be protected. The lid holder was great for smaller items like camera straps, memory cards, and batteries. My laptop fits great behind that as well. The rollers work great and the lockable handles are a bonus when forced to check the bag. Travels very well - can’t wait to take it on my next trip. Great value compared to other option out there. Overall super pleased with this purchase.
