A progressive henna is one that colors hair darker with each additional uses OR darker the longer you leave it on your hair after application. Since all natural henna’s tend to achieve a thorough coloring, (especially when coloring gray hair), the longer you leave it on, I would say that all natural henna is progressive and compound depending on the manufacturer/brand. I may not have an scientific understanding of these 2 terms so that is the best answer I can give.
