It's smaller size makes it easy to store also. It can use either the 12v or 20v Dewalt batteries. It has a nice adjustable stand built in, or it can be mounted on a tripod. It is really bright and makes any job in the dark easier.

At first, I couldn't decide between this product (DCL077B) and the big dome looking unit with bluetooth (DCL074). As much as I tend to lean on the side of overkill, bigger isn't always better. For me, the big selling point on the DCL077B was the fact it takes both the 12V and 20V Dewalt batteries. To my knowledge, this is the only Dewalt light that accepts their 12v batteries. Since I love the smaller and lighter 12v Dewalt tools for some applications, I decided to give this a try.Now, I'd be lying if I didn't say I was tempted to throw this light back in the box and send it back because it just wasn't the kickass DCL074. However, I quickly discovered that I could attach a 25lb magnet to it using a 1/4"-20 bolt on the tripod mount. Major game changer as I can easily attach it to the hood of my car as well as many other metal objects in my garage. Is this thing as bright as the DCL074? No but it is definitely bright enough for my needs. It might not illuminate an entire room but it will illuminate whatever project I am working on. Given the light weight and versatility of being able to hang it with a magnet, I find that I am using this product much more than I originally anticipated. Sometimes, I even forget to turn it off. No worries. With the long battery life and the ability to easily swap out and recharge the batteries, this is my go to work light. Love it!

Can light up the whole room. Great for work or camping. If you use dewalt batteries you already have extra batteries so it comes in real handy.

This light will definitely come in handy for those home jobs were you need a good deal of light. The three levels of brightness are a plus. I bought used from Amazon and it came in excellent shape.
