E-Projects - 400 Piece, 16 Value Resistor Kit (10 Ohm - 1M Ohm)

To begin, I'm not an engineer or an electrician. I'm a computer nerd and dabble in electronics only so far as it interfaces with computing devices.For instance, breadboarding stuff off of a raspberry pi. That sort of thing.Can not say enough positive things about this assortment.It comes in a cardboard box, but unlike a lot of other ways to buy resistors, these are in little plastic bags with the value of the resistors written on the bag.For those familiar, resistors are color-coded, but franky, my eyes are old and these markings can be a big sloppy. Hard to see without a magnifying glass and even then, sometimes hard to tell the colors apart. PLUS, then you have to go to a chart and try and calculate the value.SOOOOO much easier to have them in bags with the value printed on the bags.I tested a few of these with a multimeter. They tested out close enough to the listed Ohm rating.All in all, a great deal for the electronics hobbyist. (Or maybe even professional... I wouldn't know anything about that.)For the price, well worth it and will save you a lot of time when you're trying to find a 220 ohm resistor or whatnot.

This E-Projects resistor set FAR EXCEEDED my expectations! It's as described, and it's just a variety pack of resistors, so what's cool about that? These come in a small cardboard box in ziplock bags that perfectly fit the box, with custom labels on each and every bag. They are nicely printed and perfectly applied in the correct place so that this little box becomes a card catalog of resistors. I was delighted, considering the assortments and kits I usually get are glommed into one bag, or best case come in separate unmarked bags leaving it to me to identify and label. This is a 'Save Seller' event, I'll be shopping here first for the foreseeable future.

Very high quality set of resistors. They're packaged into small pages, sorted and labelled by value. No more reading resistor codes and searching for the right one! If resistor codes are your thing, the inside cover has a nice diagram for how to read resistor codes.The leads on these resistors are much thicker than any cheaper resistors i've ever worked with. If you plan on using a breadboard, the stiff leads are incredibly helpful.I'd recommend this set to anyone looking for a large variety of nice quality resistors.

I ended up buying this resistor kit because i could not get my Gm car to start due to a security issue.I ened up bypassing my system with a 4.68 ohms resistor and the car started right up thank god!This is the best deal for 400 pieces!! There is more then 27 million ohms in there!!I also went and bought alligator clamps to test the resistors and a solderless plug-in bread board  Elenco TL-6 Alligator Lead Set, 10-Piece, 14 inchesSolderless Plug-in BreadBoard, 830 tie-points, 2 Power lanes, 200PTS, 16.5 x 5.4 x 0.85 cm

I like it. You get exactly what you see in the picture. A box with a variety of resistors. Each value of resistors come in their own resealable plastic bag, which fit snugly in the box. Each bag has the resistor values clearly labeled. The resistances of the bags are even in order.

I really like the way these are all individually packaged and the packages are labeled. I have not really worked on electronics in almost four decades and I am very rusty (and was never really good). My eyes are not what they used to be and I have trouble reading some of the resistors I have gotten in different kits (light blue backgrounds, for instance). This divided the resistors out very nicely and was fantastic for a recycled newby electronics enthusiast.

The resistors are fairly tight within tolerance, some even nailing the designated rating right on the nose. The resistors are packaged in bags and individually labeled according to rating and arranged in ascending order from front to back--something that almost justifies the purchase to start off with (beats sorting and labeling them on your own). A resistor color code chart was included with my package. This is a good way to replenish or even start your own collection of resistors.

These are great and the sticker is pretty cool despite it being very low print quality.Ive had these for like 2 years and am finally just now reviewing them, and i can tell you they have been very handy and have lasted.
