Owl at Home (I Can Read Level 2) Paperback – October 18, 1982

We love this book so much we had to get a second copy. Our first copy is an old hardcover. This is exactly the same but softcover (and not falling apart yet, lol!).It's a wonderfully funny story. We laugh every time.

I'm using this book with a small group of First Graders as a novel study. I've used Arnold Lobel books in my first grade classroom for 30 years! Also love his Frog and Toad series.

Same author as the Frog and Toad books... I love this Owl book. I read it to my niece when she was little and got one for my son years later. He's 8 and we still love reading this book together. The stories are so creative and help us create such sweet memories since we reference them in normal life. Whenever we drive home at night and can see the moon, I say to my son, "Hey, should we invite the moon to come stay at our house tonight?" He plays right along and says, "But what if he's too big to come inside?" :)

Every child would love the sweet stories about Owl. (And for that matter, also Frog and Toad, by the same author.)If you can find a version with included CD voiced by the author, Arnold Lobel, even better. We are enjoying these now with a second generation of children, and often gift these to other young families.Good for all ages, actually, as I too enjoy these stories. Over the years, I have found myself quoting the passages when appropriate.A plus for parents, the stories can be read in a few minutes, so tired little ones aren't kept up too late, and I don’t get bored.

I loved this book as a child and my toddler loves it now. There are several short stories in the book. Highly recommend for your little ones.

My 6yr old really loves every book by this author. There is a silly type of humor to these Owl stories that she enjoys. Recommend!

This is a collection of really cute short little stories! We checked it out at the library and loved it so much we got it for our 6 year old nephew who is an avid reader now!
