It’s an acquired taste
Licourice soft chews are an acquired taste. I found them smooth and subtly sweet.Edit: just ordered my second bag. This is growing on me more with each passing day

I am not sure why companies are selling such cheap charcoal products; the liquorice flavor is purely symbolic. Before producing such garbage, manufacturers taste "Pontefract Cakes."

Highly disappointed...It's a violation of my taste buds !!!
I am very disappointed with this product. Since Haribo happens to be a German Confectionery company, I thought, they of all would make a delicious Liquorice candies. But there is hardly any taste in these so called Pontefract cake.One should need to understand that people who love liquorice candies, look for that authentic liquorice flavour. Simply adding a bit of Liquorice and calling it a Liquorice anything won't to any good.Now, I am going to be a bit dramatic and say that this product violated my taste buds and ruined my fond memories of my Sweet Liquorice !!!
