Star Wars Imperial Briefing Room Action Figures Box Set

I got this for my grandson's sixth birthday. He's a huge Star Wars fan. (Classic only, please!) I was looking for something unique, and this fit the bill. Most of his Star Wars toys are the heroes (especially Ewoks!), so he was pretty excited to get some "bad guys" for his collection.We took him out to dinner for his birthday (my son and daughter in law got to come too) and gave him his present after we ordered. We popped the figures out of the box (leaving the guns and light sabers inside so they didn't get lost) and proceeded to have a "staff meeting".Things went pretty well until the officers decided to gang up on Vader. A rather vigorous fist fight started, which lasted partway through the meal until Grand Moff Tarkin went flying into a plate of fajitas. Then Gramps had to behave himself for the rest of the dinner. :-(This is a very well made set. The figures have jointed arms (mostly... on figure has one arm that doesn't bend for some reason), movable legs and heads that turn. Vader has a real cloth cape! (Which gave him the power to fly around the dinner table.)My grandson loves the toy, and Gramps had a lot of fun with it too!

Product came open, beat up, scratched, ripped.... anything but NEW or even collector quality for an item of age...Quick to over-charge, and definitely under deliver!!!I did however get some customer service....but it was a pain(and unnecessary! If they'd send you the item they are advertising for sale!)

Nice item for collection or play. Figures are detailed. Hard to find these these guys separately. Nice explanation on the back of the box about how these guys are relevant to the empire. Plus, I paid only $38.

This is a great set for a collector, with several figures not available individually.

I only rate this a 4 because I cant give it a 4.5 or 4.75. It is a great set and one that I recommend getting if you are a Star Wars (the original movie) collector. As stated in one of the other reviews there are figures here that you just can't get individually. Until this set is re-released or the figures are carded independently, this is the only way you will get them. The only gripe someone might have is that the figures don't have the great articulation we find on the newer models. Otherwise this is a fantastic box set.Now I know there are those who would complain about the sculpts of the faces, and if you were to compare the new version of Governor Tarkin and this Grand Moff Tarkin, then you would have a valid argument. Yes even the Admiral Motti has been updated. However, the paint job and details on the uniforms is very clean with no bleed and the scale and overall appearance are very well done. I say for this old a set and for what it encompasses you really shouldn't bash it. Even the packaging is stunning. What's more, as one other reviewer states, there is a description for each character on the back that explains how that person represented, fits into the story line.So...I'd say "this bickering is pointless", if you have reservations about purchasing this, just think about how much it brings to your collection.
