Was accurate and ready great for about 6 months. The batteries died. After replacing the batteries I could not get this to work again. It was easy to clean, light weight, readable, and had a nice storage case

In my quest to replace a thermometer similar to this that was 30 years old I have purchased some doozies. The last one had color coded lights for everyone in your house so each one had their own light color? What? Of course it had to be programmed for each person which meant reading directions. 😵‍💫 All I needed was a simple thermometer that you turn on, put in your mouth, it beeps and you have your temperature. Walah ..here it is…. Simple to use great price and no frills. They should change the name to “Thermometer that requires no programming skills”

This worked intuitively right out of the package. I didn't need to do any setup to use it, though I read the manual later to discover that it has a cool feature where it beeps a different pattern in a higher frequency when it's done if the person's temperature is over 100 F.That's a fantastic feature for someone who is visually impaired, as a double-check, or even if you're using it in the middle of the night, to alert you right away to a fever.I picked this model because the price was right, but I wound up with a nicer thermometer than expected.

Excellent thermometer works in a matter of seconds, the batteries life is for so long
