Have suffered cramp whilst swimming after 2500 meters. This has really helped with no cramp on last nights swim of 3.8k

As a keen runner who runs about 30-60 miles per week I was eager to try these after reading great reviews.Unfortunately I could not notice any effect whatsoever.If you’re doing cardio and want to perform well sports nutritionist recommend 30-60g of carbs per hour. Most sports drinks contain some electrolytes anyway.In Northern Europe you really don’t need any extra unless a health professional says otherwise, even then capsules are considerably cheaper.They’re useful to hydrate after sport and have a pleasant taste.Could be useful if you do hot yoga and want flavoured water, then again there are much cheaper options if you just want to liven up plain water.Unless you’re planning on running the bad water ultramarathon, doing a multi day trek in a rain forest or any other activity where you sweat profusely, save your money.

I struggle with dehydration in general and . I am unconvinced on these additive tablets. To me the purpose of a hydration aid is to enhance how much of the liquid consumed is absorbed by your body versus being drained right out the other end. When I have used these I am afraid they seem to enhance how quickly the liquid runs through me and don’t aid absorption. These make me pee like crazy which has to mean they don’t do a good job of getting hydration into my system. These aren’t cheap either so it’s quite the investment to fail. Honestly the positives are taste and how quickly they dissolve and the free shoelaces. The remainder of the £28 spent is wasted as they seem to be a diuretic which is the opposite of the purpose of them.

I have been advise to take these tablets whilst working out as I have low blood pressure and need to increase my salt intake. All four flavours are great and I like to have different flavours everyday. These tablets are also great if you are looking for a bit of a boost whilst working out too.
