adidas Alliance II Sackpack, Vivid Mint/Black, 18 x 13 3/4 in

I bought this bag for my daughter. Her school does not allow basic backpacks only drawstring bags. She has used this bag for 2 consecutive school years. Carrying books, notebooks, band instruments, and clothing. The bag continues to be very durable, she has not complained about anything getting wet, and it does not look wore. It does relect use (dirty) but overall this is the best drawstring bag we have purchased.

Made in VietnamI use this bag to hold two 1 liter water bottles and a thermos for work. The material is thicker than other draw string totes and it also has a zippered pocket and two mesh slots for bottles. The draw strings are also thicker than other totes making this bag durable for its category.My only complaint is the draw strings tend to slip off sholders. I use a small carabiner to connect the shoulder straps in front of my chest.

I bought the black with yellow reflective trim and camo.I am on base 6 days a week working out at 4:30 AM. I need something to carry a couple water bottles, my keys, ID, my sweat towel, my phone, my wireless ear buds, my workout gloves and a couple of protein bars.BINGO!Adidas scored on this bag! Not only does it look great, but it is made of a thick nylon material with thick cords. I have used other bags that have had thin materials and they ripped after a couple months/ washings. Everything on this bag seems to be thick and reinforced. Sure, you can't carry a ton of weight in it, but can be filled to a decent amount and still hold well without fear.I plan on packing this on my Asia trip this week. I will be wandering and exploring the countryside of Taiwan and will use this as my day bag. I will of course use the 2 bottle holders. And keep a rolled up rain jacket, a hat, sweat towel, protein bars and a few other goodies. I have no need to use my big tactical backpack, so this will work super well and keep me light and nimble!So whether you use this as a gym back, day pack, school bag, you really can't go wrong. Definite 5 stars!BTW, although the logo is small, I really hate advertising companies without getting remuneration. So I actually gorilla glued a camo USA flag over the logo. That's just me.

This is a great sack-pack, definitely better quality than any generic ones. I like that this has a zipper pocket, as well as mesh pockets for water bottles. I bought this for use as my gym bag. I carry my shoes, water bottle, and gym card in it, and I could definitely fit more stuff if I wanted to. I have not tested its water resistance, but it has a plastic-like feel to it, so I'm gonna assume it's somewhat water resistant. The only downside is when it's brand new, the top of the bag is difficult to close with the draw strings, as the material is stiff and tight. I do think through time and usage this will relax a little bit and be easier. All in all, this is a great bag. I've not had any issues, but I'm not rough with it either, and like I said, I only use this for a gym bag. I wouldn't suggest using this as a school/book bag, i think it would wear out and rip, as well as being very uncomfortable on your back and shoulders. If you plan to use this for something like the gym, or clothes or small, lightweight items, this is the perfect sack .

I bought two bags. I and my son use these bags regularly for all types of usage. The bag is light and sturdy. The strings are thick and easy to hold. The zippers are well put together and don't seem to tear or split to this date. The bottom layer is made of good cloth quality and won't scrape or tear that easily. The mesh holsters are plenty stretchy and can hold a water bottle easily. They too are made of good mesh material. Adidas did a good job on this bag. There are cheaper bags in the market, but if you want a bag to last you years to come, this is a good choice. If I can make this bag better I would thicken the upper bag area a little more, sure it will weight a little more but not much to make a difference. I recommend this bag for anyone who needs to store light items or clothing while hiking, working out, or strolling at the beach. This is my second sack pack of this exact design. My first one lasted for about 3 years. I used it for bicycling. On some occasions I used it to carry my needed items to the car and starting point and during the summers it was used for parts of the rides to carry lunches and fluids. It is very good for that because it has the two side pockets into which you can fit Gatorade or your favorite drinks with easy access. It also has the right number of pockets to put your keys, cell phone, tire repair kits etc. The original one I purchased was black and "cloth". That was a downside because it got hot in the summer. The one I got now is "Spray Booth White". It was significantly more expensive than the other color choices, but is quite reflective - more silver than white. This not only adds to the safety factor when using it for bicycling, but should keep everything cooler too. Readers may find this review too focused towards bicycling, but the good attributes I have mentioned should extend to hiking also. For other uses, it is still a good product, but maybe you don't need to spend double the money to get the white color.
