Ever since I got this, the sun hoodie has instantly become my go-to for anything in the sun or where I might sweat. I have retired all of my button-up hiking shirts, which are much less comfortable, have less sun coverage, and are covered in unnecessary bits and pieces like breast pockets, collars, pleats, and buttons. The sun hoodie does everything better. The great thing about the hood is not just the coverage for your neck and ears, but the fact that it's thin enough to go under a hat to hold it in place. The Willit is quite a nice product for the price. The fabric is lightweight but still feels substantial, durable, and stretchy. It is very comfortable and has held up well through numerous adventures. I went ahead and picked the lightest possible color to reflect the sun: white. I really like the way it looks, and I went into it expecting it to get stains. Sure enough, it has picked up a few, but that doesn't bother me because it's a rough-and-tumble activity shirt and it gives it some character. It fits well overall, although it does run a bit small. I would recommend going up one size, since you want it a little loose for airflow. My t-shirt size is usually L but I ordered an XL, and I'd say that the sleeves are just barely long enough—using the thumb holes feels like it pulls too much and isn't comfortable. One feature I might wish for is a kangaroo pocket, but it's not necessary if you have pants pockets. Highly recommended, get a sun hoodie

Tried Magcomsem, Tacvasen, Jumgear, Baleaf, Northyard, Ingear, and $80 Outdoor Research Echo — not even close. OR poor fit/fabric and all other Amazon brand w higher ratings is crap quality. Willit absolute steal for quality. Smooth comfy fabric, quality sewing, color withstands washings (I hang dry), lightweight but higher SPF protection than thinner shirts. 6’ 190lb 36” waist Large TTS — sleeve length good, shirt actually covers butt, roomy but flattering midsection. Husband has purely functional requirements but I like how he looks in it. Willit IS THE ONLY shirt he likes vs all the ones we’ve tried. Other $19-$30 shirts a joke. DON’T MAKE MISTAKE buying cheaper far inferior brands w confusingly higher ratings. HEED MY WARNING. Willit — DO. NOT. CHANGE (CHEAPEN) THE QUALITY OF THIS SHIRT. 8 in rotation now, will buy for life. ONLY note from husband: length normal but 1-2” longer length better bc outdoor folks bend over & wearing hood raises back a bit. Wife’s only concern is harder stains don’t come out — but that’s outdoor work. If ANY way to improve length + stain durability better I swear we’d pay $60 per shirt n still a steal. Currently beyond better than ANYTHING else out there, even 4x the price. THANK YOU.

I have a rock climbing friend who had one of these and after a recent trip where it was hot and sunny and almost no humidity, i was wanting something like it. It is light weight, long sleeve, has a hood and loose to fit and I am big ~250lbs. I recently used these at a soccer game where I used the hood to keep the sun off my ears and head. I didn't burn at all which is fantastic and I was comfortable all day. I looked for others elsewhere, and they are many times the price of this and I don't know if you can say they provide a lot of benefit at least not that deserves the price. I bought 2 of these for less than the cheapest alternative I could find. If you burn easily and need something to wear when its hot, this is a great shirt.

I’m tall and slim (6’4”, 180 lbs) with long, lanky arms, so finding clothes that fit just right can be a challenge. To be safe, I ordered this sun shirt in medium, large, and XL to compare. Surprisingly, the medium was the best fit by far. The sleeve length was nearly identical across all three sizes, but the large and XL were noticeably too loose in the chest and a bit too long overall. If you’re tall and on the leaner side, I highly recommend going with the medium. The fit is spot on, and the shirt feels incredibly comfortable. Perfect for sunny days—lightweight, soft, and breathable. I’m really happy with it!

Wife loved the color and fit on me. I love the material. Very comfortable, quite stretchy, nice quality. Will be ordering more in different colors. I ordered a large and this fits me well(6ft, 160lbs).

These shirts are very nice for the price. They are thin and light and seem well made. I’m purchasing them for a hot climate where the sun beats down hot. These shirts will help protect me from sun burn which is exactly why I purchased them. Sizing appears to be accurate for US standards too.

This feels very baggy and not form fitting. It protects you from the sun, but everything is very loose. The hood also doesn't stay over your head that well on windy days. The material is just very light so if you are walking into the wind it just blows off your head. It also is very wide, so there is some extra fabric around the waist that kinda makes you look lik a flag when the wind blows. The sleeves are also a little bit long for my arms, but it does exactly what it was made for. If you want a cheap alternative for some UV protection gear this does the job. It just doesn't look too flattering.

Great color. Nice shirt. If you are ordering for someone for a present though, make sure they aren’t home when delivered. Was delivered in a thin,clear plastic bag! Surprised it wasn’t damaged.

Choose your normal size.Great shirt for hubby to cover up whilst outdoors,not clingy or hot to wear.Very happy with this purchase.

My family member has very sensitive skin which must have SPF protection. This shirt has a hoodie which covers the back of the neck, side of face and ears for added protection. It has thumb holes to keep the sleeves in place. The shirt is comfortable, lightweight, washes easily, quick to dry. All in all, it a good product. Very satisfied.
