Great organizer - labels are a bit small
I use my BOX-ALL for SMD component storage. Perfect storage, keeping a lot of little tiny things organized. The challenge is that the labels barely have room for more than 3-4 letters which makes putting the right information on the box where the component is a bit tough. I'll come up with a system, since a bigger box/hole would defeat the purpose. Maybe there should be an index in front/back that you can type more on?EDIT: This is for the 72 slot AideTek organizer. This was the initial organizer I got realizing too late it's not ESD compliant. So I got an organizer that was but now that it's full, I wanted to use the 72 pin for passive components where ESD isn't a big issue. I came to realize that this unit is exactly like the 144 unit except that the top part has no lids - but instead is covered by some nasty static-electricity inducing foam covering them. So if you can print the lids yourself, you can have 144 compartments. For both boxes, I recommend adding an index on the outside and use compartment numbers inside or use a label maker that can print really small. That allows your index to have the "details" of what's in each compartment instead of attempting to put it all on a very very small label.

ESD safe, quality
I didn't find anything else like it. In the ways of ESD safe and quality lock-tight compartments.Sometimes the lids are a bit harder to close, and I would prefer that than them being on the easy side and risk spilling tiny parts. My solution is simply to press the lid tab with the back end of my tweezers, works better than a fat squishy finger...I put all my passive components in the box and many of the smaller SMD parts I work with. Much faster working with this box than a bunch of bags of parts and was a major upgrade to my workspace footprint.

In general, the box fits its purpose
When I opened this organizer for the first time, I saw that the top of every compartment is covered with a thin layer of dust. Not a big deal, but unpleasant. Some compartments require a bit more force to open them, others are too easy to open.Compartment tops are designed for label size 15 × 9 mm, but included labels are smaller (12 × 7 mm). Hence less space for clear marking. The plastic has the burrs in some places. For example, a couple of burrs prevent closing the organizer without friction.Free tweezers included in the package are also far from top quality. First, the tips have different thickness. Second, they are not non-magnetic.

Is what it says-
I tested every compartment for how well it latched closed and found that each one was generally consistent in pop-up/snap-down force needed. With a few exceptions, one compartment seemed exceptionally loose where the snap closed force was almost not enough. The good news is these are made for very small light weight parts to begin with, so it should never be an issue. The one location was marked so as to avoid.I'm an expert electronics technician and can verify as tested, this is the same conductive material used in similar construct ESDS storage containers.I'm excited to have this addition to my inventory management system, to control micro sized surface mount parts. The tweezers were so-so quality, but did come to a fine point. The coating was a plastic dip with inconsistencies in the thickness.

Great little box for very small parts
Great little boxes for small SMT parts. I don't use them for my inventory but at my bench when I'm building things. The lids snap closed tightly but can be left unlatched, but closed, between builds on my bench. I can flip an individual lid open with my tweezers, pull a part, and flip it shut in no time.I would like if they would come up with a better label system. The little labels are fine but they don't have software to let me print them. A link is provided to a word document that has some values for resistors but it is really limited.

Almost perfect!
This unit is solid. Little compartments open and close with a satisfying "click" and never leak. The enclosed tweezer is higher quality than the ones they ship with the gray boxes (i.e. it's actually useful for smaller components like 0603 SMD).The only improvement potential is the label adhesive. Across the AideTek line, I find that the labels tend to peel far too easily. Thus, you will have to really press (and repress) labels over time.

Very convienent way to safely store small SMD active components
Exactly as described. The latch seems quite durable and the lid of each of the 144 compartments has enough room for a small P-touch 2-line label. The supplied labels are OK, but not as good as the printed labels from a label maker. As a bonus, they sent a set of ESD tweezers.

Missing the "free" tweezers.
Would easily have gotten 5 stares except it was missing tweezers which are shown in photo and also in product discription. I dislike when this happens and it happens so very often. The box itself if fantastic quality.

A great product
Significantly reduced the amount of space required to store surface mount components and removes the problem of the labels from the suppliers fading out over time, leaving you with unknown mystery components.I moved everything to a set of these boxes, this made things much easier to find and significantly tidied up my component storage. These storage boxes work best with a small label printer and a spreadsheet that is laid out the same as the box, so that you can store all the rest of the detail - part name, description, supplier, datasheet link, etc in a couple of adjacent cells and have all the info at hand.

Perfect storage
Really nice storage box, very pleased and perfect for my smd components, not cheap but are worth the money, I bought three of them and one anti static version and three standard.
