Review: Very well made and works exactly as I wanted - I spent ages researching a light for my PC and laptop to address the variable lighting as I spend a lot of time on video calls and delivering training. I settled on the Lume Panel Mini due to the functionality (brightness, warmth, ability to run off internal battery or powered from the USB cable, clear digital display on the back showing light levels and battery time remaining - not that I have been using it on the battery). It is extremely well made and the silicone/latex diffuser is really good and protects the light whilst still allowing free access to the control button and scroll wheel. I haven’t had any issues at all with the suction mount but it is fixed to either a totally flat 27’’ HP monitor or the same on a 15’’ laptop both with matt surfaces. In fact it is exceptionally strong and well made as a mount. I have mounted the light directly above my high res pop up camera on the PC monitor and keep it plugged into a USB port to power it from there. It works perfectly, is silent (none of that slight buzzing you can sometimes get from LEDs), it didn’t come with a bag were I to transport it and for the cables but I can live with that. I have mounted it ‘landscape’ but there is a screw hole at the ‘portrait’ end to mount it that way too and it would fit easily onto a Gorilla Pod for example if you wanted to use it for close up photography of things. It only weights 80gms so very minimalist in that regard. For the build quality, functionality and ease of use generally I think it’s well worth the money. If you want to light a studio then this obviously isn’t the thing to use but for video conferencing it’s great and the box even says it’s for that purpose.

**Q: Can this be attached to a tripod?**
A: Yes. If you use a go pro type tripod mount. Or I used it the other day with a generic smartphone mount. Where there’s a will there’s a way!

**Q: I've had the USB plugged in for 30min and the light still wont switch on?**
A: 1. Has it ever worked ? (Confidence check) Check the back of the cube to see that charging is registering (you can disconnect the USB and test by pressing and holding the blue power button on LHS).
2. If this isn’t working you either have no power from the USB port you are using or (sadly) you have a non-working cube.
3. Try a charging plug separately to see if that works for the cube.
4. (NB: once charged, the cube should hold its power when switched off)

**Q: Is there any way I can buy the suction cup mount separately? Mine has broken, and looking for a replacement**
A: Look at camera mounts & check the size of screw thread (before ordering & to avoid disappointment ! ) I use a standard camera tripod as an alternative mount.

**Q: i have a macbook pro and concerned that the suction cup will not be sufficient?**
A: I use mine attached to the reverse of my iMac; the surface is matt silver and is curved.  if your macbook lid is flat then it should adhere well - note that the suction cup includes a sticky disk that helps adhesion, and a lever operates a cam to ensure that initial suction is good.  However in my case as I'm using it (them, actually - I have 2 identical lights) on a desktop unit they are only removed infrequently, so I can't really comment on whether they'll tolerate repeated fitting and removal.  I've never had one drop off.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked well, until it didn't

Everything was as promised, good product. Great light with different settings. Stuck to the back of my Macbook. Despite what other reviews said it does not leave a mark. But it just stopped charging after about a month of use. Very disappointed. UPDATE: It started charging again, so all good!
