Very good budget phone
The media could not be loaded. Ok so I bought this phonw for my mother who is 63 and wanted a new budget phone as her old one finally gave up the ghost.I ordered this one because she wanted a cheap budget phone that could do everything she wanted. She basically only uses it call people, text people and receive pictures of the grand kids via whats app. So I decided on this phone as the price and specs met what I was after.Setting the phone up was a piece of cake and took around 10 minutes. The phone works qith my mothers Tesco mobile contract sim and she receives a good solid signal for calls and 3G.The phone is fast enough for my mother and does everything she needs it to. The screen is bright and easily readable in daylight and the 6.49" size makes it great for viewing photos and videos. The battery life is more than enough to get my mother through a day and still have around 30% battery left when she goes to bed.Its great that the phone comes with an already attached screen protector and protective case so the phone is protected straight out of the box.Camera wise the phone is absolutely fine for occasional use, obviously you're not gonna get s20 quality images but for the price they're fine. All in all i am going to give this phone 5 stars because for the price ita great. It does everything my mother wants and more.

Decent cheap phone
An excellent entry level phone. Perhaps a bit on the large side for the average joe or jane, unless like me you specifically wanted something with a nice large screen. At 6.5 inches it's almost like a mini tablet. Nice to have the latest Android 10 running things but obviously it doesn't have all the other whistles and bells of pricier kit. At circa fifty quid though who's complaining! Feels nicely made and all the basic functions are mostly intuitive, pleasant and easy to use. Display is clear with good screen colour and the touch/ swipe sensitivity is responsive. Camera is ok for taking the odd snap and the quality will suffice, but its nothing to write home about. My main niggle and gripe is annoyingly the C19 doesn't appear capable of storing anything but names and phone numbers within the Contacts file. I'm used to being able to store multiple details - emails, addresses and the like. It just seems a strange thing to skimp on!? Otherwise though it's all pretty decent and 2 months in I'm very pleased. Would recommend.

Overrides whitelist settings to kill background apps
I wanted a cheap phone to listen to Amazon's Audible audiobook player at night and this Oukitel seemed to fit the bill. However, after I'd been listening to Audible for 30 minutes, the phone shut it down. My alarm app was being killed off also - so no alarm in the morning. So I checked out the settings and found (after quite some searching) options to:a) Remove apps from 'Battery Optimization', andb) Add apps to the phone's Whitelist (Phone Manager > Settings > Whitelist - 'Apps in the white list are protected and not cleaned up').However, it turns out that these two settings are entirely cosmetic - for show only - as neither made the slightest difference. So I turned the Batter Saver off completely. No difference - apps still killed off after 30 minutes.I then tried to stop the phone from sleeping - not possible. The options are (under Settings > Display) range from 30 seconds to 30 minutes. That's it. No option to turn this function off.I researched this and found over-aggressive killing of background apps has become a something of an issue with recent Android phones - favouring battery life over the phone actually being useful. I installed an app called DontKillMyApp from Google Play to benchmark Ouikitel's dismal performance. Then I installed another app from Google Play to keep the phone CPU awake. And... the phone killed it after 30 minutes. Despite it being on the Whitelist and the Don't Optimize list and the Battery Saver being off completely. So, if you want to run any kind of app in the background - music, alarm, fitness tracker etc etc - this phone is 100% useless, unless you fancy rooting it. I don't, so I'm returning mine today.

Good value sim free phone.
Found this one specs and quality quite good comparison to the price. It has three back cameras the highest one is 13mp clear nice picture, found colour of the photos much brighter which was taken under sun light.Has 5mp front camera quite good for its range. One the best parts it accepts external memory card upto 256gb.It come with android 10 platform, has 2 SIM cards slots, didn’t figure it out yet as I have only one SIM card at the moment.Display wide 6.49” size, looks smooth and elegant. It has 1.3ghz processor which still browsing on internet and changing tasks handled quite fast. Battery 4000mha, depending how much used it changes, overall for its range quite good.It say it’s water drop safe, didn’t test it myself , good feature to have.Personally found it good value for it’s quality.
