Anyone try the Thrive mascara and this one? Is it a dupe, beyond both being tubing mascaras. The tribe one is my fav but so expensive.

I don’t know what some of these reviews are talking about because thai is no where near Thrive mascara. This is dry as soon as you open it which makes it hard to work with and after 4 hours it’s on my under eyes. It’s not a tubing mascara at all. Maybe I just got a bad batch but I wouldn’t buy it again.

I haven’t tried Thrive, but i got it as a substitute for the Blinc Amplified tubing mascara, which is a volumizing mascara. It Doesn’t give quite as much volume but it does give a lot and does separate and it is buildable. It also does NOT smudge and most definitely IS a tubing mascara that comes off with water only. I had some ever so slight flaking, but it was just a couple tiny black dots which i just brushed right off. I have to say j really do like how thick and black and separated it makes my lashes.

Less flaky than the popular princess one

I love this, better for me than the viral Princess one which flakes like crazy! This one does not flake or smudge, stays put. Removes not as easy as Princess but not too tough. It gives nice volume and it easily applied. Will always repurchase!

Very Good

I have converted to tubing mascara. It does not smudge, before or after application. This product creates length, but wish it thickened. It also easily washes off at end of day. No more smeary eyes.

Where did it go?

This mascara is just okay. It does not smudge, as advertised but it just disappears during the day. I washed my face that night and hardly anything came off, very strange. The separation is meh and it does not coat my lashes as well as my other mascaras. Worth a shot but I won't reorder.

Will buy again!

I saw someone mention this mascara online. I had been wearing waterproof mascara because it didn't smudge during the day. However, it was a pain to take off at night, and the skin around my eyes was getting irritated when I removed it. Anyway, someone said that this stayed smudge free while still being easy to remove. For the price, I thought it was worth a try. I'm glad I bought it! I don't get raccoon eyes during the day, and it comes off with my regular face wash. I don't need to scrub with any eye makeup remover beforehand. I will definitely buy this again.

Hello Panda Eyes

I was so excited about this mascara at first. It is super lightweight, which I love. However, I purchased it purposefully for the benefit in the name - no panda eyes - and that is the opposite of what I experienced... While with other mascaras I'd tried, the main issue for me was always flaking, with Bye Bye Panda Eyes I got just that - panda eyes! Disappointed to say the least.

Not too bad; I like the formula

Not a bad drugstore mascara. I usually use Tarte tubing but decided to try this bc I live all my other essence products. It gives good length on the first coat but not much volume. I'm ok with that tho bc I don't like a very thick formula. Probably multiple coats will give more volume (I'm only wearing one coat on the left eye in this pic). I find they get too messy n clumpy when its a thicker formula so I like this one so far. I like the wand on this mascara too. It gives good definition and separation. Hopefully it wears well. I cant speak on that yet but I'll be back for an updated review ....
