I got a GOOD use out of this thing!
So I had a good 6 months of use out of this Mini Stepper, and I weighed at the time of purchase 178 lbs, (6' ft 1" tall) and then with a few months of cardio 1-2 hours a day using this product I lost about 20 lbs that brought me down to 158 lbs. I had an injury to my arm that prevented me from going to the gym, and required me to be at home 24/7 for 8 weeks. As for the product, the stepper arrived and required a bit of assembly, it wasn't hard, but don't tighten everything completely till its all put together, and when everything is right; then tighten. After a few weeks of use the bolt that holds the stepper in place started to pop out, and then I'd tighten it. (So Save the Tools!) Well after about 30 minutes of use it would come out again, and then again.. So On. This past week the metal sheet that holds the support for the steps warped out and ripped in 4 corners, and now makes the stepper unusable. -I gave this 5 Stars only because the product was such a great price for the use I got out of it.

For the price, this is perfect.
This is a sturdy little machine that gets the job done. For the price, you couldn't ask for anything more! It doesn't have any bells or whistles, like a hill simulation or distance travelled or anything like that. It is simply a stepping machine. It puts up a lot of resistance when you first start using it, but as it warms up, it becomes easier to work. The directions are poor, there are no words or steps. It is just one picture of how the machine should be assembled, so don't tighten your screws until you have it completely assembled! It comes with an Alan Wrench, but you will need an adjustable wrench as well to assemble the stepper.Update: After two days of use, the digital reader on the stepper stopped working. The stepper still works.... It just doesn't count your steps or calculate the calories you burned.

Just don't.
I am rather mad because for a while after purchasing this machine it was working great for me and was seeing some real progress of losing weight/getting leaner. --- bought it January 31st, arrived February the 2nd-- and it took literally less than a month for it to break on me. I don't really know what happened, but one night while on it, i felt the pedals just give up and both fell flat down as seen in the picture above. I am not over the weight limit mind you either. I got off it and tried to push it back up but the resistance wasn't there. I called support and I originally thought that the shock was messed up ((the cylinder part)) and they told me that I can order a new piece, went to the site and did so and showed them proof of my purchase with a few pictures and it was free which was great but had to wait a whole week to come in. Finally it arrived and I had to reassemble the cylinders ((noticed on my right side that a washer was missing from one side btw,,luckily I had spare ones thanks to my dad)) and did everything correctly and tried it out but still it falls flat and idk what the problem is and really frustrated. It was bad enough trying to even assemble the machine originally because it was difficult and had to be told by my dad that a pair of pliers were needed to hold the bolt side to tighten and use the little tool they gave you as well but damn this is just a waste of money and i don't recommend it to anyone, save your money.

Not bad for the cost
Not bad for the money. It is compact, fairly easy to put together but all the hardware was loose in the box instead of contained in packaging, so a couple of bolts, washers and nuts were missing. Not much of a workout as the steps only have a height of about 5" or so.

Nice machine for the price! 2 problems
The counter came DOA but customer service promptly sent a new cord with sensor. It wasn’t the sensor but one of the wires. It was also noisy that was fixed by spraying some Teflon into the front bar that glides against a plastic piece. Has been good since!

Problem
This is a nice piece of equipment. Problem is, there is no adjustment for pedal pressure. Pedals are so hard to pedal, I had to return it! Sorry to say, as it does not take up much space! To the seller and Amazon’s credit, they worked with me and took it in return with no trouble at all! I hope they change the problem in future!

I Plan to Put it Out With the Trash ~
And hide it from the neighbors, because anyone who took the time to take it home and try to use it, would find it useless. The set tension on it is such that one would feel like they were moving at the speed of maybe a 105 year old - and it might be good for someone of that age, except they would probably fall off.

Could not be used
I assembled this stepper as required. As I began to use it 2 bolts in an area that I did not assemble fell off and the stepper could not be used or reassembled. The bolts would not screw into the equipment. I returned it after great difficulty dismantling it and reboxing it. Never again

NO wrenches or attachment tools included
I have tried to contact Amazon who sold this to me and no response. There is no video on how to assemble. There are no wrenches or tools to attach bolts and screws and washers. When assembled without the tools it is wobbly and ready to fall apart at the first use.

The jury's still out
Good workout for your legs if you can get the peddles moving. I was disappointed in the fact that the tension isn't adjustable. I'm fairly petite so it's hard to push the peddles down or to get it going enough to bring my heart rate up.
