they are just a little big . I went by the size chart and ordered what I thought would be the right size but they came a little big . but that is better than too small

I have to return because the sizing is off. The recommendation from Amazon is a Medium. The size medium looks like it will fit my 8 year old, 48 pound granddaughter not my 5’6” 140 pound body. If they were sized correctly for an American person they would definitely be something I would keep and wear.
