I workout ever day and have curly hair. My hair and scalp especially gets pretty grungy because I have to avoid shampooing in order to keep my hair moisturized. This has been a life saver in helping keep my curls nourished but refreshed throughout the week.

Good afternoon,I usually don't write reviews but I wanted to give a different experience. I'm a 4C natural and have used the Hydrating co wash, oil and leave in conditioner. This was on Sunday, 16 August. Today is Tuesday, 18 August.any who, I used the co wash and at first I thought they was slip either. After I sectioned and put the wash in, I used my Felicia Leatherwood settable brush to distribute product evenly. To my surprise, the co way helped immensely with my tangles. Cleaned my hair and got ready to style. with my hair in sections I started to make my twists with leave in conditioner and oil (Pretty sure that's not the right order though). When my twists were all done and dried, I took it down and used GU's refresher spray and proceeded to get my hair in order. Tired it down and went to work. When I got there, I absent-mindedly touched my puff and it felt SO MOISTURIZE. I was very pleased with my results and everything had a great subtle scent. Lastly, I have issues with my scalp and the scalp soother was such a relief to me.So, I'm not sure what it didn't work for the others. But I'm in love lol. Thank you for reading my two cents 😁

In my experience, products developed for black hair can leave residue on my scalp. To be fair, I am white with dry curly gray hair, so I'm not the target audience; that said, my hair needs a lot of moisture. This co-wash is good -- leaves my hair cleansed but not stripped, without any residue. Not loving the scent, but it dissipates after the hair is dry.

I was really excited about this product and wanted to love it. My prior cowash was discontinued. The smell was ok, but as soon as I put it on my hair I immediately knew it was a mistake. Not only was it really hard to wash out, but it left my hair a knotted mess. It didn’t completely rinse out, leaving me with a strange “residue” feeling. Afterwards, I followed with a different brand, but my hair still felt like straw and I had a ton of breakage after which is not at all normal for me. I’m only giving 1 star because the smell of the product wasn’t bad. I’m donating the rest and will never use it again.

I have curly hair on both sides of my family but with different patterns. A residue really sticks around unfortunately after using this product but the curl pattern is stiffer at the root afterwards. I find myself needing a shampoo more frequently with this product though.
