AT the time, it was a rather new lock and the reviews were all pretty good. I also paid full price for this unit ($200.00). You can also see from the "verified purchase" above that I really did buy this lock. I finally got around to deciding to install this lock. I was impressed with the package, the instructions, and the on-line videos. The kit comes with everything you needed for installation, including two little screwdrivers (torx and regular), as well as 4 batteries. Everything looked slick and exciting. Installations was a snap and downloading the app was easy. Setup took some fidgeting, but mission accomplished 15 minutes later. All was well until I actually tried to use the thing. I hate when electronic devices are not reliable and this was the case for this lock. It only worked about 50% of the time. Rats. I then read the recent reviews on Amazon and started seeing a pattern. As it turns out, what started out as a wonderful idea turns out to be an unreliable bust. Rats again. I went on the company's website to see if there were upgrades or a return program. Low and behold, the company is no longer selling any of their products. They are all "unavailable" on the website. What they should say is "discontinued", but I'm only guessing. I also see that you can still buy these locks at half price now, but I suspect the company has gone belly up or is starting over from scratch. Consequently, I threw the lock away. An unfortunate and costly lesson on not being a technology "early adopter". Like the KEVO disaster (see reviews), it's best to wait a year before buying new technology. Save your money. I just purchased one of the Samsung Ezon Keyless units that uses tried-and-true RFID technology  Samsung Ezon SHS-3321 Keyless Smart Universial Deadbolt Digital Door Lock, Black , which is bump proof, keyless, and has a fob or code to unlock the door. Sorry Okidokeys - it looked like a great product at first with a clever name. Now all I have is two little screwdrivers for my $200.00. ### ⭐ seriously lacks features *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2015* works ok but there is a serious lack of features. BT is too slow , lock does not talks with any other home automation gadgets( they don't say it will talk with anything , i should be more careful when buying) and , worst of all, the hands free is almost useless since i have to re-anable it every time i used it. Plain fact is that a regular key is quicker and easier. Didn't liked it at all.[Edit] I've been using it for a few weeks now and i like it even less. It's basically a toy, worthless. It takes forever to open the door ( regular keys would be much,much faster) and the worst of all is the the alleged , and i quote from their FAQ , "several technologies to avoid any undesired unlocking." I discovered that the "several technologies"is nothing more than disabling the hands free mode EVERY TIME you use it. so if you want hands free mode , here's the steps.0) unlock your door with the app1)Exit your home2)lock the door3)WAIT UNTILL YOUR ARE OUT OF REACH (!!!)4) Don't forget about it (which i do often enough )5) Activate the hands free mode (which is a pain with confirmations popups and so on)6)When you come back , wait until the lock recognises your phone (about 4 or 5 seconds, don't seem to much until you have to do it every time)7)open the door and enter your home8) grab your phone9) lunch the app10) re-lock your door* if you try to re-enable the hands free ( and they actually warn you about this) the app will unlock your door the moment you lock i t!!!!And you will have to do it every time with you want hands free. How can this be " several technologies to avoid any undesired unlocking."????it smells like a scam to meSadly i don't live in the US, so returning the lock is not really a option. ### ⭐ Bad product and support not as advertised *by B***O on Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2015* Wish I could return it not working as advertised many bugs with auto open works maybe 40 percent of the time. Issues just keep poping up this week issue auto unlock will not unlock door unless I unlock my phone? Just easier to use my key keep in mind this program runs always in the backgroundSupport is real bad see they never answer the phone you need to send a email and maybe someone gets back to you in a day or so Could someone help on the phone?
