I love to cook, which means I spend a lot of time cutting vegies, meats and fruits. Over the years I have cut my hand and fingers many times. Last month I did a real job on my thumb, still healing after 4-weeks. I thought o myself there has to be a product out there for me. These gloves fit the bill. I was worried, they might be clumsy and prevent me from being able to grip items effectively in order to chop them; however, that was not the case. Gloves work very well. I know they have already saved me a nick of too. Brough a set for my children to put in their kitchens too. Recommend.

I got a mandolin for Christmas. Sliced a 3 x 4 millimeter hunk off finger tip with first use. Was a bloody mess. Brought these gloves and during mandolin use felt a tug. Hand and glove fine. Thank you!I have extra large hands and these gloves fit.

If I didn’t have it on, it would be an accident when I was cutting a mango. I am glad it worked perfectly, and I was saved. It passed the test! I am going to use them always because my knives are very sharp.They are very flexible.

Covers my hand for safety

The size chart was spot on for my hand size. Inner glove is very smooth and comfortable. Good fit that allows easy movement of the hand. After butchering, cleaning and prepping 60 sides of Lamb and filleting more than a 1000lbs of mahi not a scratch and the glove still looks brand new. Tough, versatile and easy to wash and clean. Excellent product.

As a quilter using rotary blades, these gloves protect my hands from wayward sharp objects.

I'm paranoid about slicing my finger after chopping off a peice of my thumb years ago, which required a trip to the ER. Since then, I always buy just small rather dull knives to chop veggies. I recently got a sharper knife, and not wanting to repeat my previous injury, started looking around. I never new about these types of gloves. I reviewed several brandes but decided on this one. I wanted to have four so that I didn't have to keep washing two. I usually wear L size gloves (or even L-XL), but followed the size chart and ordered M, which fit perfectly: snug, but not tight. Just right. I sliced a tomato and then used the same pressure on these gloves (with my fingers in it). No issues. These gloves effectively protect my fingers. Can't recommend these highly enough. Such a small price to pay to avoid another trip to the ER.

I think this is a necessary piece of personal protection

I use these for using the grater and the mandolin. They fit quite well, protect like mad and are easy to clean (just toss them in the top tray of the dishwasher and hang to dry.) I would recommend these to anyone who has inadvertently added their meat to their meal preparations. These will prevent that!I have no idea was to their heat resistance, as that is not what I bought these for.

This isn't safe at all, I was planning to use a Madeline to slice vegetables, and when you feel those gloves, you know they not going to be safe..my ski gloves are better then that. Then you have to pay the return fees. You have to shipped it back to Seattle and pay all the fees, Don't buy!

For an extra large fit they were tight on my hands!
