These are great hooks, but Amazon shouldn't be changing the prices so wildly. They are currently twice as expensive as they were when I bought a pack last year.

Best salmon and steelhead jig hooks on the market
I tie jigs for salmon and steelhead and these are the only hooks I use. Yeah you get a defective hook here and there, but 99% of them are perfect. Plenty strong for the biggest of steelhead or salmon and would recommend to any jig tier out there.

Very good hook. Extremely sharp. Comparable to Gamakatsu 604
Sharper than I expected. Great value. I also use Gamakatsu 604s and these are 1 size larger ( size 1 mustad = size 1/0 gam 604 ). I use these for steelhead jigs so I was concerned with how sharp they would be. I have made about 60 of the 100 hooks into jigs and all hooks have been extremely sharp.
