I purchases two of these cameras to help keep an eye out for intrusions on my property. The cameras operate 24 hours a day. I inserted memory cards, so that I could review footage at a later time. The software which you download and use for free allows you to view live video, or look at previous footage. I particularly love the fact that when the camera picks up on movement, it begins tracking and recording the target. I have mine set where I get an email when the camera picks up a motion alert - which also includes a still picture of what it captured. The pan / tilt features allow you to 'look' around, and you can set up pre-sets so that by choosing a number, the camera will immediately move to the position that you were wanting to see. The cons of these units are -- short power cord. You get roughly 10 foot of cable, so if you are needing the camera in a place that has no power, you will need to order a separate extension cord (these are not expensive, so I would order the cord of the length that you will need when you order the camera. Also, I have found that every couple of days I have to change the preset of the cameras so that they are pointing exactly where you want them to be (a slight float of a fraction of an inch will change the view). This is just more of an annoyance than a huge problem. If you are looking for a reliable wi-fi security camera system that pans /tilts - and also tracks targets, you will not go wrong buying this product at this price point. Night vision also works great!

This camera is incredible just based on its looks alone. I put this up in the front of my house on one of the overhangs so I can get a full view of the front and driveway side of my house. Installation was easy I will say I was concerned that the Wi-Fi signal wouldn't reach it but after drilling a few holes and plugging in the camera and setting up the software everything works great. Watching the activity from the front of my house and seeing who was going to my front door from the comfort of my office was very nice. I like the fact that the picture and Clarity was great day or night. I love all so that I can move it around and look at different angles very smoothly. The camera appears to be built very sturdy and has had no issues regarding weather. If you need something to monitor your property and have an electrical outlet available this is a great camera to you is because it covers so many angles.

The camera will not stay connected, and continuously reboots when it's in sunlight. It worked fine at night. Setup was easy, picture was amazing, motion detection was excellent. Every feature was fantastic, but when the camera will not work when it's daytime, it's all useless. I sent this one back, and the nice folks at Amazon sent me a replacement, and guess what - that one did the same thing. Sent that one back as wellThese things are JUNK!

This camera was set up using the ios app. While not too difficult to download and connect to the camera, the ios app leaves so much to be desired. The menus aren't the most clear as to their purpose for someone new to these cameras. I had to do a lot of reading and rereading of the instructions as well as going to their website to download any and all available information especially the help document on setting up a smtp email for photos (you can have 1-3 photos from the motion detection emailed to you using smtp from your email such as google, yahoo, etc, etc. but it is a lengthy process to set up. When I tested this feature the app said the process failed, but then I saw the emails so, there you go).Be warned the camera company, like most, is based in Asia. The documentation is sparse and not very clearly written, it leaves a lot of details out. Some of the pc apps setup menus have characters missing, Chinese characters where there should be English, it's kind of a hot mess. (I tried downloading them to see if I could use them instead, wasn't successful without hardwiring to camera).The video is very clear, but be warned in the app it defaults to SD quality, so you'll need to select HD to view crisp video and images. You only have to do this once unless you actually change it back.The motion tracking is a little misleading, where you point your camera after setting it up is the view window you can track from (you can select a smaller area within that view to track, but you can't widen it and the only shape you can crop to is of a square nature unlike some cameras that allow you to draw curvy shapes to monitor), where this is misleading is the tracking does not the use the full range of the 355 degree view using pan. So, I pointed the camera at the edge of the porch to the end of the driveway thinking it would pan the camera to follow people up to the door, but it doesn't. The only way the camera pans toward the door is if I start watching after receiving the motion alert and pan the camera myself in the live view (by the time you get to the app and start watching their usually nearly gone in my experience when delivering a package or something similar). I feel like this isn't quite how the documentation makes it sound. It ought to be able to continue to track within it's pan range, not just the narrow view it's positioned in. I'm not sure what tracking it's doing beyond continuing to record since the camera doesn't need to move to track within it's set view. I guess it's just following the motion, but again to what end? It doesn't zoom in on its on or move the camera angle beyond the view window it's set to so....not sure the point. (You can zoom in on the app live view, though you can't zoom out from the default view, only zoom out after you've already zoomed in.)As far as recording videos this has been extremely frustrating. I can get the camera to motion record to an FTP server I setup (for the non-tech savvy, it's a file storage folder off of the device accessed remotely), but I cannot get it to record to the micro SD card within the camera. Yes, I formatted it, and yes it's within the GB range the camera can handle. I know the card is working with the camera because the camera allows for "scheduled" recordings, and THOSE will record to the SD card, but there are no settings within the app to do more than set it to randomly record throughout the day and for how long those videos record for. I believe the pc program allows for further programming of this feature, but using the pc program requires using LAN during setup, so I opted to set up my device and use it wirelessly through the app. So, I can set the random recordings to occur at all, but have no control over them beyond how many seconds they record for. If this feature is something you're interested in I suggest you use the pc version of the software to set up and access your camera.Yes, the camera requires a power cord with a wall plug that is included, the cord is nine foot long. No, it doesn't have a battery, solar panel, or other ways to power it.Overall, I love the camera itself, though be warned when it says it has flood lights it will light them up-at night-whenever it detects motion, you can't toggle it off as it uses this feature for the night vision with color. The app I really don't like and would love it if the company would redesign it. Not being able to have the camera pan to track people walking up to the house is a huge disappointment, but if I point the camera directly at the door I'd miss any activity in the yard etc. There just wasn't a way to point the camera to see all the views I wanted at once.This thing is big, it's not super heavy, but make sure you screw the plate into studs behind your siding or it might rip off.I can see this camera being great in conjunction with other cameras in this line as you're able to add multiple cameras from the manufacturer to the app, though you can only view the live feed from one at a time in the app, I'm not sure if that differs in the pc versions.Note, the screws included for mounting were rather short for trying to hit a stud through siding and we swapped them out for longer ones.I've contacted Ctronics to try and resolve the micro SD card issue, but for now I'll have to settle for random video recordings on my card and motion tracking recordings being saved to my FTP server in .264 files (failry standard file type for security cameras) which need a video viewer capable of playing of these files (Ctronics has a free one in their support area of their website, though that won't help with playing these files from the FTP server on a mobile device.)UPDATE: don’t use motion tracking, just use human tracking. With motion tracking turned off the camera now pans to follow movement and I finally got it to start recording to the SD card for alarms as well as scheduled recordings. Love the camera now, the app could still use some work.

I purchased one of these cameras 2 1/2 years ago and it has been fine until recently. It would no longer stay online so I reached out to tech support. I exchanged several emails with Elnum trying to troubleshoot the issue. It was finally decided that the camera function was not optimal and he offered to send me a new one for free. Customer service on this level is almost unheard of these days and is much appreciated. It made me glad I bought a Ctronics camera. The HD is awesome!

Tracking slow hit or miss. No cloud. Picture quality very good. I use my arlo as main camera for reliability n this camera to see spots arlo can't. False alerts. I don't Che k my phone unless my arlo goes off

Ho comprato questa telecamera per tre motivi principali:- prezzo abbordabile per una "dome" da esterno- inseguimento dei soggetti umani in movimento- detta compatibilità con la app HiCam alla quale ho collegato già altre telecamere.CONTENUTO DELLA CONFEZIONE:La confezione è ben imballata, contiene la telecamera, le viti di fissaggio a muro, il libretto di istruzioni multilingua, un paio di sticker e l'alimentatore da parete: quest'ultimo ha l'apprezzatissima caratteristica di avere il cavo lungo 3 metri che rende l'installazione decisamente più comoda se si devono attraversare pareti.ASPETTO:La staffa di montaggio (tutta la parte bianca) è in plastica, mentre il corpo macchina (tutta la parte nera) è in metallo; è presente un vano svitabile per la SD. Il cavo in uscita dalla staffa si divide in alimentazione, ethernet e tasto reset.Le due antenne sono entrambe funzionali (ho letto commenti che dicevano che una fosse finta, forse per altri modelli), sono rotanti ma non rimovibili.FUNZIONAMENTO:Il corpo macchina ruota su entrambi gli assi in maniera fluida e al tatto trasmette una sensazione di coppia molto forte, il che fa ben sperare per la durata dei motori.Attorno all'obiettivo sono posizionati 5 led IR e 4 led a luce visibile (aiutano nella visione notturna a colori)NETWORKING:La mia modalità d'uso è via wifi, collegata ad un NVR (iSPY), quindi non posso parlare direttamente della parte di registrazione su SD, ma il software che la gestisce è lo stesso di molte altre IPCAM che uso con SD e funziona perfettamente sia come riscrittura progressiva che come pianificazione.La connessione LAN (Ethernet e/o WiFi) richiede un po' di esperienza (o meglio, uno scanner LAN) perchè la telecamera è in DHCP quindi non vi sarà dato sapere in anticipo a che indirizzo trovarla. Trovato l'indirizzo, le credenziali sono admin/admin (ovviamente modificabili) e si entra nel menù anteprima/configurazione.Dando per scontato che funzioni con l'app CTronics, l'ho collegata invece all'app CamHi tramite l'UID e funziona perfettamente: inoltre l'app permette di dis/attivare le funzioni di inseguimento (comodo se si vuole che la telecamera resti ferma in un punto).SOFTWARE:E' possibile scaricare gratuitamente (ma non è incluso) il programma di gestione da pc, io personalmente mi trovo benissimo con iSPY (ugualmente gratuito) e, grazie all'ottima interfaccia web è possibile gestire ogni aspetto della telecamera.IN CONCLUSIONE:La macchina sembra abbastanza robusta, la parte ottica è decisamente buona, l'interfaccia web è la migliore che abbia visto finora. Il tempo dirà se la durata sarà altrettanto soddisfacente. Comunque consigliatissima.

Zur Ergänzung meiner Heimüberwachung habe ich mir diese IP-Kamera von Ctronics mit Bewegungserkennung zugelegt.Die Kamera wird hauptsächlich verwendet um in Abwesenheit zu kontrollieren ob zu Hause alles in Ordnung ist - mit einer ständig befahrenem Parkplatz, wegen der Gewerbeeinheit ist das nicht selbstverständlich. Ich benutze die Kamera ohne die LAN Kabel über den W-LAN. So brauchte ich auch keine Kabel verlegen oder die Fassade für Kabelleitungen bohren.BildqualitätDas Bild ist wirklich einwandfrei, sehr scharf, der Autofokus funktioniert gut und auch die Helligkeit ist immer passend eingestellt. Der Nachtsichmodus funktioniert ebenfalls wunderbar, aber hier gilt: Kamera frei aufstellen, wenn Oberflächen zu nahe an der Kamera sind strahlen diese die Infrarot-Wellen zurück und man sieht nicht mehr viel. Das ist aber natürlich nicht durch die Kamera bedingt sondern im allgemeinen bei Nachtsichtmodus so. Soll aber nur ein Tipp von mir an potenzielle Käufer sein.TonqualitätDas Mikrofon ist super. Deutlich besser als bei meiner alten IP-Kamera vom Ausland. Man kann damit dem Postboten im Notfall bei nicht Anwesenheit Anweisungen geben wohin die Pakete gestellt werden dürfen. Die Lautstärke ist ebenfalls absolut ausreichend. Auch hier ist die Kamera deutlich besser als meine Alte Noname Kamera.Das ist meine 3. Kamera von den gleichen Hersteller. Bin mit allen dreien zufrieden. Besonders mit diesem Kamera, weil ich die Kamera auch per App drehen kann.Kamerasteuerung von unterwegs & BewegungserkennungDie Kamerasteuerung funktioniert mit einer wirklich sehr kurzen Verzögerung (die ja normal ist und ich denke mal auch etwas mit meinem langsamen Internetverbindung zu tun hat) super. Der Bewegungsradius beträgt beinahe 360° in alle Richtungen.Die Bewegungserkennung funktioniert ebenfalls gut - wenn man möchte bekommt man sofort eine Benachrichtigung wenn eine Bewegung erkannt wurde oder ggf. ein Mensch (das lässt sich einzeln so einstellen). Die Erkennung von Menschen funktioniert mit dieser Kamera tadellos, entsprechende Hinweise auf dem Smartphone sind dann sehr schnell da. Ich habe es aber ausgeschaltet, weil sich bei mir auf dem Parkplatz viele Menschen aufhalten.Alles in allem:Ein solides Gerät mit guter Bild- und Tonqualität. Auch die Einrichtung ist schnell gemacht. Anbringungsmöglichkeiten sind mitgeliefert (siehe Foto), welches auch sehr schnell erledigt ist.

Voici plusieurs semaines que j'ai reçu cette caméra bidirectionnelle.Pour commencer elle arrive très très bien emballée comme vous pouvez le constater sur les photos. Elle est de bonne qualité. L'installation est très facile, il suffit de suivre les étapes très bien détaillées en français.Pour notre part elle surveille toute la maison, étant placée sur le pignon du côté, j'ai un très bon contrôle. Quand elle détecte une présence humaine, elle se met à suivre la personne aussi bien horizontalement que verticalement.Ma vision nocturne est aussi nette et claire que la vision diurne.Rapport qualité / prix, elle est top. Vous recevez directement des notifications sur votre portable si effraction et vous pouvez même parler à la personne via la caméra. Possibilité de rajouter une carte SD pour vos enregistrements.Elle est vraiment top! Je la recommande pour tous ces points. Je peux maintenant laisser ma maison en étant rassurée. Même quand mes adolescents restent seuls je suis rassurée car je vois tout ce qui se passe autour de ma maison en temps réel et ça, ça n'a pas de prix et sans mauvais jeu de mots, le prix est très correct.

Auch die Personenverfolgung funktioniert Tadelos und sehr ZuverlässigDie Nutzung meiner seits ist rein Privat und nicht Gewerblich . Meine Rezesion beruft sich hier nur auf die Private Nutzung . Ich würde diese sogar Gewerblich zur Nutzung Empfehlen , da ich schon Beruflich mit solchen IP - Cams gearbeitet hatte die wesentlicher schlechter waren .
