Cleared up in three days
For several weeks I battled cyanobacteria thinking I'd beat it naturally by manual removal and keeping nutrients low. I eventually gave up and thought I'd give this a go. It totally exceeded expectations - it took effect within 24 hours and the tank was clear within three days. Easy and effective.My only criticism would be that the instructions direct you to mix up the whole batch in one. Given that I was treating about 50 litres and not 200, that seemed like a waste. I kept plenty of powder dry, literally, and mixed only the amount needed, which worked fine.Other reviews suggested the treatment might lower oxygen levels and so I added an air stone just to be on the safe side. No adverse affect on corals or fish. Very pleased.

Might work might not.
For me it didn’t work. I followed as instructed. I dosed with this medics twice. G ave it the benefit of the doubt. Other reviews say it’s really good. It’s clear 50/50 for working or not working. My water parameters are actually really good. But I can’t shift the cyano. Maybe if you have had water quality this stuff works? Who knows. I would say it’s a gamble. Don’t let this review put you off. As non of my coral , fish, crabs , shrimp was harmed using it. So it doesn't hurt to try. Just don’t be too disappointed if it does not work. They do multiple strengths. So maybe if this doesn’t work buy the stronger version. ? Good luck.

It works!
I have had cyano issues for months now and I have treated my tank (fish only) several times with similar remedies, which worked for a while, but those tell/tale little signs always came back ( small red staining on rocks/sand etc). I decided that I would try this as it had good reviews, but by this time, my tank was looking like the red slime planet!I washed every bit of rock that I could, washed the sand, changed 20 gallons of water and then added this stuff. It worked! No new red growth so far. If it does recur I will use it again!

Possibly kill my corals
With my experience of this I came back next day to a half dead town and I only used half measures think about it before use this product I would have took pictures of before and after that I didn't

Rubbish & a waste of time/money
The product didn’t work. Turning off the lights helped slow the spread of the bacteria. I’m trying another item bought from the pet store. Do your research.
