Bought 3 of these to take on holiday and within minutes of plugging them in to charge up, the plastic around the charging port felt very hot, as did the cable. Unplugged them and the metal charging port and metal charger point were insanely hot. They had been charging for less than 5 minutes. Thankfully I unplugged them when I did, I dread to think what could have happened if I'd left them unattended.Will be returning all 3 of them.

I bought this fan to take to hospital with me when I gave birth. It was incredible when I first used it, the hospital was boiling and this was an absolute lifesaver. It’s small but very powerful and due to its size I could have it blowing on me but not my baby so it was perfect! Also it isn’t very loud on the lowest setting so it didn’t disturb any of the other news mums on the post natal ward. I continued to use it at home during the night to keep me cool but now after only using it for a few weeks it won’t charge anymore, so I am therefore unable to use it which is really disappointing. It would be such a good product and I would of highly recommended it had it not stopped working but I would expect it to of lasted longer than a few weeks before breaking and I feel let down by this.

It's not often nowadays that you find a product which actually exceeds expectations, but this little fan certainly does. Robust, lightweight and although not enough to blow your wig off, is more than decently adequate for general facial/body cooling. The fact is happily stands vertically on its handle is a real bonus. Always very sceptical about claimed battery life I tested the fan upon receipt. I fully charged it each time and found that there was actually between 1 to 1.5 hours longer for each speed than advertised...... I got Low - 18 hours with the light flashing for the last hour, Medium - 9.5 hours with 1 hr flashing, High - 7.25 hours with the last 30 minutes flashing. Very impressive!!! Buy One.

Really impressive little fan. Nothing like the battery-powered plastic ones you'd have as a kid. This is well built, efficient and rechargeable. Battery takes 5-6 hours to fully charge because it's a BIG battery, and will run for many many hours on even the highest setting. It can stand by itself - even on max - so I leave it running on my desk as I work. It's USB chargeable as you can see in one photo, so you can also charge it from your laptop - or whatever else - while running it. Honestly really impressed with this and small enough to throw in a backpack and bring with you wherever else. For the price it's a bargain and I'm really impressed, could see myself picking up one or two more as gifts for other people. Oh, and it's not super loud either.

Advised to get a hand held fan by a palliative care nurse to help with my husbands breathing. The fan arrived quickly, it is a great little fan, 3 different speeds, quite sturdy, very quiet, easy to use and to charge, would recommend it

This fan has a rotor that's 8cm diagonally from blade tip to tip, and the unit is 19.5cm long overall. The battery is in the oval handle and the unit is reassuringly weighty without being heavy to hold or to carry. Easily charged via an USB cable (supplied), the fan's operated by a single button that cycles between off - low - medium - high - off; the button surround incorporates a light to show the charging status and operation. Even at the lowest speed, the fan is sufficiently powerful to provide a cooling airflow to the face, which has been keeping me comfortable in our current exceptionally hot weather. The fan is also quiet so, at least at the low setting, it doesn't interfere with listening to the TV even when the latter is turned right down. Highly recommended!
