Lose door ovals. Get these.
Massive upgrade from CS series 6x8 two way front door ovals. Using approprite sub for bass, round sounds FAR better for mids than ovals. You get watcha pay for.Crossovers and drivers are decent quality. Metal grilles allow nice dispersion. Great to only drill minimalist 1/2" holes and easily direct highs using pods. Using class A 50 w rms per ch amp makes these absolutely sing.Highly recommended. Im already considering another set for rear side panels.Update. I was wondering why lotsa reviewers of more high end 6.5" speakers complain of them not fitting their cars while "6.5" Kickers always seem to umm "fit". So I measured these alleged 6 1/2" speakers. They're really 5 1/4". NOTHING about these speakers is close to 6.5" except the grille openings. Look at the pics they dont lie. Nothing against the sound quality jus sayin . . Sometimes lie fly, quirky worky!

Step up from stock
These are mid tier replacements. From what I have seen pulling out the cars OEM speakers, the bottom tier replacements are a slightly better version of OEM with a bigger magnet and more cone made of one material.These mid tier have a bigger magnet and better cone material quality than stock by far.Tweeters had to be a custom mount for my vehicle as they are 1/4" larger than OEM.Sound Quality over OEM is a no brainer. The highs and mids are more accurate and cleaner.

Speakers
Kicker is a solid choice for the cash. Do not buy it unless you're getting a good head unit or an amp. They sound worse than stock unless you have a decent power source.

Explosive Concert Like
MUSIC to my ears!!! Clear and concise and not overbearing. The tweeters are crystal clear and they provide a few mounting options. Mine were installed along my upper door ledges. Well done Kicker!

Burn 1 in 2 months with JL xd 4ch
Hoping they where as the RS! not near...really smal compare to the old model....the kicker RS work for 10 years and the bass they make was a lot bettet....if you want a real good one go with JL C-3. They really worth the money!
