Cavendish & Harvey 6-Flavor Drops Variety, 5.3 oz Tins (Pack of 6)

Very good quality. Excellent taste.

I like to keep some hard candy at home. This one is extremely hard to find in stores. It is fresh because of the nice tin it comes in and is covered by a foil covering inside. Great flavors.

I have hit a hard candy stage and have found that these by far are the best. So flavorful and satisfying.

The tins are much larger than I expected (about 4” across and 1-1/4”deep)—so not the small size you’d keep in a purse.They do taste like they are made with *real* fruit juice as they claim, and they are not cloyingly sweet, which I really appreciate. Made with glucose and sugar, no high fructose corn syrup. They’re very pleasant tasting. The lozenges are dusted with confectioners sugar to keep them from sticking together.I don’t get that nasty feeling that my teeth are wearing little furry cashmere sweaters after indulging in one—so they are not overly sugared. Each large lozenge has 20 calories. The tin is marked in Hebrew as kosher.I love the delicate flavor of their Pear & Blackberry drops (separate flavors, not combined). I would buy these again.

Cute tin & delicious old school candies

These hard candies come in wonderful flavors, each one lightly powdered to prevent them from sticking together. I discovered this brand in Germany and ordering them from Black Tie Mercantile appears to be the best value available here in the U.S. Each tin is sealed and the 6-pack comes boxed cleanly from Black Tie Mercantile and then (possibly because I also ordered other items) the box was in an Amazon box as well. I was a bit surprised that the ones I thought would be mixed flavors (like Pear and Blackberry as one candy with the two flavors mixed together) were actually tins with individual Blackberry- and Pear-flavored candies (same with mixed berry tin), not a combination flavor. Nevertheless, the flavors are really great. The 5.3 ounce tins are a nice size giving the six-pack a much better value than some of the offers delivering 1.75 ounce tins. I hope to find some of the other flavors of Cavendish & Harvey available through Black Tie Mercantile soon!

A can was open and powered sugar was all over the cans and the rest of the box. There is usually a plastic strip that has to be removed before opening the cans. None of the cans had this plastic strip on them. Not happy at all with the packaging.
