Fahrenheat F2543 3' Baseboard Heater, White

I purchased these to add heat to a dining area which was subject to cold air after removing heating units to remodel the kitchen. Having installed similar in another home which I own, I know these to be reliable. The units from this supplier were a GREAT deal as far as price.

This baseboard heater works great, looked great coming out of the box and installing was not complicated UNTIL, it came time to punch out the pre-cut hole blanks for the wiring. Who ever was the metal stamping source for this company did not set their stamping dies correctly and the pre-cut hole blanks were not perforated to the proper depth and it was a miserable task trying to punch out the holes without destroying the integrity of the structure. I bent the right outside end of my heater and had one heck of a time making it align together. The same for the back. The heater works great but they sure can improve on the quality of their metal stamping manufacturing process it down right sucks. Hopefully you will get one from a different manufacturing run than mine.

Very pleased with my purchase and easy to install.

I paid about $23 for these 36” heaters. That’s just a little more than half the going rate. Unfortunately, all four were banged up. The individual boxes were damaged, but not the shipping box, so the dents seem to explain the price. My house is kinda old and beat up too, so I made them work. I definitely recommend if you don’t need them to be perfect.

The heaters arrived packaged together, luckily no damage but the packaging wasn’t great. Otherwise ok.

Easy to install with versatile wiring options. Added a thermostat on one end that fit perfectly where one of the covers goes. Bathroom is toasty warm now. Update: after using it for a few months I am moving it to another location because it makes a loud "twangs" as the element cools off. This is loud enough in the next room that it wakes me up at night. I would not recommend this brand if you plan to install it in or near a bedroom. I will try another brand for the bathroom it was in.
