Way way too expensive for what you get.
The good: Well packed & sealed @ no leaks or smells. That's about it.The bad: WATER is second on the list of ingredients, the third is virgin olive oil and the fourth is citric acid. But strangely enough the citric acid seems to dominate the flavor. The water serves no purpose other than enrich manufacturer's pocket. The garlic flavor and the virgin olive oil's taste is minimal.Bottom line: The price for this mediocre product should be at the most, maybe $9.00 or less, instead of the $18.00 I was tricked into paying.Stay away. Learn from my mistake.

Ingredient of product is deceiving
I expected minced garlic in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Essentially it's just minced garlic in a water solution with perhaps a drop or two of oil to qualify stating it is indeed in Olive Oil. Nothing special to delineate from ordinary minced garlic to warrant the price. I actually had to add Extra Virgin Olive Oil to the bottle.

Bad to begin with or from bad seal...
I bought a couple of these a while back. (yes, the arthritis has gotten THAT bad!)I always keep my canned goods in MY pantry: cool, dry, dark cupboard. I opened the first jar; the foil seal had popped open. I checked the 2nd jar: the foil seal inside the plastic lid was puffed out as if contents had expanded!I opened BOTH jars to discover a rank, rancid odor!BOTH containers WELL within *best by...* dates!I love cooking, used to love the pre-prep; chopping, grating, slicing, etc. but due to that old-man-syndrome which begins to take hold of some of us after an overworked lifetime, the joy of prepping becomes so much of a chore, due to old, worn joints. We've heard of botulism and that can develop in badly packaged canned and/or jarred foods...I wasted these due to botulism or *who-knows-what GUNKY POISONS may have grown or developed in these badly packaged jars!

What a mess.
When the package arrived it smelled heavily of garlic, which I expected sort of, but I opened the box and one of the three containers had the lid almost completely screwed off, like it really looks as though someone or something intentionally opened this because the seal was peeled half way off when I checked. There was garlic all in the box, and the other containers were super sticky for some reason. I've never known garlic or olive oil to leave a sticky residue, so I'm also curious as to what the hell that was as well. The package also arrived a day late, which I'm not worried about but all of my other packages came on time or early. Even with the pandemic. I okay care as much about that though, just thought it was worth mentioning.

I "discovered" this on Amazon... thought garlic in Olive Oil sounded tasty and opted to try it... NOW it is a mandatory item in our pantry...Fantastic flavor, plus, you have garlic infused Olive Oil for other items you cook...Great Product, and if you don't like it, I will finish it for you

Appears to be Spoiled
Received on 11-24. I opened the jar on 11-25, and the inner seal was so pressurized and puffed up that within 5 seconds the seal exploded open. It had a sickly sweet smell, not very garlicky. I believe the product was spoiled, and just too risky to taste.

Muted garlic flavor from citric acid
Maybe all processed garlic contains lot's of citric acid now. Years ago I remember jarred garlic having more flavor. It used to also have a warning to use a clean spoon only. The ones I've tried recently all have a sour taste which isn't good for garlic bread. It also has much less flavor than fresh. I end up using 2-3 times as much in things like pasta sauce.

So convent when fresh whole garlic is available
I like the idea of having this chopped and ready for use. My problem is that I don't use plastic or plastic jars for any of my food. I did not see anything which would have given me the idea that the jar was plastic and the order came in 3's. So, I now have three plastic jars. I guess I foolishly thought the word jar meant glass (from old school) rather than container. Not happy!
