This is an excellent little LED light. It's so versatile because it's small, it has a cold shoe connection, it has variable color range and brightness. It does a great job. It adds adds enough light to your subject without adding unnecessary glare. I've only used it for about 1 hour at a time and the battery was still strong. The materials seems sturdy. It doesn't come with a storage bag, so for travel you may want to wrap it up in something. There's really nothing to assemble, it works right out of the box and is very easy to use. This would make an excellent gift for anyone who likes to take pictures or videos. This is a great value.

I bought the VL-81 LED Video Light, and it’s been amazing for both my photos and videos. The color accuracy is spot on (CRI95+), and I love that you can adjust the color temperature from warm to cool (3200K-5600K) depending on what look you want. I was so nervous to buy but I took a chance and did. I received my package on the 2nd day as promised and I was not disappointed. This is the coolest light I’ve ever had. It will go perfect with my gimbal. This thing is super bright and the battery lasted 4 hours continued use. It’s the cheapest costing light but this thing puts out! I highly recommend and I will be back in a few days to post a video. So go buy it!

Very useful piece for content creators, I like that it’s pretty compact but able to produce decent amount of light. Has a standard mounting so it would go with almost any tripod or camera. Battery lasts a long time too

My camera has a flash for photos, but videos come out grainy with improper lighting. This light illuminates well and evenly making a big quality difference. The temperature adjustment goes from warm to fluorescent quality, which is appropriate to what I'm using this camera for. In addition to video (warm light), I use this light for home improvement uses (fluorescent). When mounted on a small tripod it has provided good illumination for installing appliances like over stove microwaves, dishwashers and dryers. I also used it for installation of a car stereo in an older car. The battery charges decently fast and is rated for four hours. I have never used it more than two hours in a row on high, and I still have a couple of bars of power left. I've had this for about 2 years now and use it a couple of hours a month.

I carry this thing everywhere NO LIE! Folks laugh when I pull it out, but then they see the photo and are awed! I'm finding more uses for this light. It's very lightweight and the battery lasts a long time. I use this on top of my professional mirrorless camera when I am photographing an event. The light can be intimidating and makes people feel like you are very close to them, so just make sure you are watching their reactions. It will work well for vlogging too. It's a great little item that solves many problems.

Good brightness that can be adjusted to suit the conditions, have yet to take photos with it at this time.
