MOUNTAIN FRUIT COMPANY Raspberry Tart Jam, 9.5 OZ

Most jams are way too sweet for me. This is one of the only brands that I can eat. The raspberry is my favorite as it tastes tart as it should and just like raspberries. This one is not sickly sweet. it has the rich dark color of the fruit and it is not thick gel from sugar. So it will fall off your spoon because it has less sugar and more fruit. It is by far the best jam on the market and I have tasted many of them. Most American jams have way too much sugar and they're sugar forward vs fruit-forward. I don't know how people even taste the fruit in them but this company's products are different. All of the flavors are great! I just happen to like the tartness of raspberry, but I would eat any one of their jams and be very happy with it. I've been buying them for as long as I can recall; maybe 20 years. I've tried all the best brands including Inna which is marketed as a high-end product in some of the best stores and I can't stand it. Their "fig jam" for example, is so sugar-forward that I could not eat it and had to throw it out. This mountain (?6 company makes superior jams that taste like fruit and they don't kill the fruit with sugar. They're full of real full fruit and they taste as good as if you bought the fruit and cooked it up yourself--which I do regularly. I make my own jams from strawberry to Tayberry to Blue Damson and buy all the fruit from the farmers market. This company's product is the only one I will eat aside from the ones I make myself.

If you absolutely love "real fruit" and are prepared to pay a high price, best you buy these before they are gone, as Mountain Fruit, the producer has sold the company and there is no indication when more will become available. The fruit content is so high, the label suggests to consume the contents within 7 days once opened. I tend to consume at least half of the jar when I use it. It's hard to stop eating! However, if you buy these, then there are less available for me!!

This tastes BEYOND awesome!!

This jam is more liquid than many you might be familiar with - possibly because it has less sugar and pectin to ”set” the jam. I'm convinced that's because it has *lots* more fruit - and thus an intense fresh raspberry flavor. I'm always searching for jams that give a true fresh fruit savor, and I've found True Mountain has achieved that in three I've now tried: raspberry, rhubarb, and duet (strawberry / raspberry). They're my new go-to brand. Great jam!

I love all the fruit spreads/jams I have bought from this company so far! They are less sweet than the average jams and I love this! The flavor of the fruits really come through as a result! They are so good!!!

Simply the best jam I've ever had in my entire life. It's hard for something sweet not to be at least "good", but this jam goes beyond merely good. There's something fresh, somehow less artificial or processed about this than pretty much any other jelly or jam I've had prior. It's almost, dare I say, a bit more European in its refinement, exactly as sweet and tart as it needs to be. You could almost eat it as a main course by itself, but probably not advised. It will make any dish it's on instantly special.
