Garmin010-11251-40 Edge Extended Out-Front Mount

PERFECT! Love the sturdiness and looks.Exactly what I was looking for to fit my Garmin Edge Explorer for my bike. Use it daily and stays put on handlebar, never shifts place or gets loose. The two inner rubber bands with different thickness to choose from that’s included, helps it to stay on tight and also helps to not scratch your handlebar.Highly recommend!

Great holder for my Garmin bike computer. Holds it very secure and easy to attach and remove the computer from it.

Fits great on the handle bar. Fits 22mm and 31.8 bars.

Makes viewing the computer much easier.

This mount is less "out front" than the one that came with my 830 (which Garmin calls the "Flush Out-Front Mount"). Unfortunately it is enough closer-in that it also has to place the 830 above the top of the h-bar so that you can access the "Lap" and "Start/Stop" buttons. Unfortunately this position requires me to reach up from the h-bar to scroll the 830's screen which is less comfortable than that required by the "Flush Out-Front" mount (I rest my palm on the h-bar top when I do this and I have short fingers). Otherwise great mount if you like the position at which it puts your Garmin Edge.

I'm really happy I bought this. I have the Edge 200 and use it all the time. But the rubber bands that hold the mount (the default one that comes with the Edge) on the handlebars where breaking from time to time. I had to order more. It was too easy to twist the rubber bands and break them if you weren't careful.This extended mount, however, is huge a improvement. The install is easy. It comes with two rubber fitting, one thick, the other less so. You unscrew the hex screw (the tool for doing this is in the box) and fit it over the round rubber attachment and then tighten it. Solid grip. No wiggle.The Edge 200 (and I'm sure any Edge with this mount) fits in cleanly and securely. Much easier than that rubber band mounting device.The fact that this extends the device out just a little from the handlebar almost makes it a little easier to check the data.Highly recommend this.

i was using after market mounts and they were causing the pins on my garmin to break. This is actually cheaper in the long run because it has been the only one ive needed and the garmin pins have not broken since.

STOP! I strongly suggest you do not buy the item currently for sale. It is NOT an extended mount and will NOT fit the larger Garmin bike computers. I saw some complaints in the reviews but bought anyway and will return immediately. I bought this item originally in 2018 and that one fits my Garmin Explorer 2 perfectly. I believe the mount that currently fits larger Garmin bike computers is the Flush Out-Front Mount.
