Well Made Kit - Cam Has Good Hardness - Lifters Bigger Oil Holes
Sooner or later, every Hemi 5.7 Liter engine extant on this planet will need a kit like this because this engine literally eats its own timing system, starting with the cam and the lifters and working up from there. I put this kit into a Challenger 5.7 that had been run hard and was in permanent limp mode. I saw why when my shop guys pulled out the old cam - 4 lobes were down to little nubs and all of them badly worn. Most lifters just crushed and none were round.The new kit fit just fine, and when I looked over the new lifters I noticed a better oil groove and a bigger oil hole which I believe will help prevent, or at least delay, this from happening again. Chrysler never really solved this problem which most mechanics is down to insufficient oiling of the cam and lifters at about 3 or 4 different points in the byzantine galleries and tubes that eventually drip or splash oil onto the lifters and cam, so if you have one of these, you'll need this kit - and I like this one a lot. Cam is well hardened and lifters well made with more oil passage space. Car now runs great and I'm pleased with this kit.

I havent been able to run yet
I havent been able to run this yet however i did go through each component and all seemed there. i had a few burs i had to knock down and i didnt use the headbolts however i think in a pinch for stock applications they should be fine. the gaskets themselfs seemed fine plyable of similar quality to stock. I also had to pull and place a few components and the seals didnt collapse between installations. running will trully be the proof but i have confidence this should be more then enough for stock. just be sure to look everything over and double check before install
