Decent knife and stitched leather sheath for the price! Seems robust, thick spine and not quite razor sharp upon arrival. I will consider other HH knives down the road.

the knife is exactly what i expected and wanted, but it doesn't even fit in the sheath it came with. this seems to be a common problem with fixed blade knives on amazon. please drop the "one size fits all" approach to sheaths; in the case of this knife, the blade is very wide and it could really use a custom sheath pattern.overall, though, the blade is sturdy and sharp, and with the handle has an overall primitive aesthetic and ergonomics i find really nice.

For the price the knife is gorgeous, they obviously spent their time on the blade and not the sheath , but I made one from kydex. The handle is a little smooth and could be slippery for someone who isn't comfortable with blades, but a little file work and sandpaper and it was perfect.

This is my second blade from HH. First blade was machined well. Aesthetically even in the blade and sanded evenly in the handle. But this blade is machined very poorly. The knife itself is a good knife just not done well. The knife sheath is even worse. The knife did not fit in the sheath. And when I forced the knife to fit it ruined the sheath. Over all what you get is a nice blade that is affordable but do to the price you don't get a well machined blade or handle. I do very much Love the shape and design of the hunting knife. Hopefully HH will work on this blade. I'd be willing to pay more for a well machined tool.

This is a really good knife to carry on your belt for every day usage for a man or woman . It comes with an easy access sheath to grab and pull from sheath. Blade is thick , sharp,and sturdy while i cut 1/4 nylon rope-still sharp. 8inch knife. Worthy.

Has a good edge for factory. Blade is sturdy and straight, handle material looks good. My only complaint is that the tang sticks up about 1/8 of an inch on both sides of the handle from the handle material and is fairly sharp. It will have to be ground down to be flush with the rest of the handle.

This is a great quality knife but the handle length is about 1/2" too short for a secure grip. Wish it came with a brown sheath too. I really like the build quality and looks. But I'm not to happy about the handle length. Can you do something about that?Thanks Don Herington.
