If you love purple heart like me, this is a must have!
I just love working with purple heart. Alot of people dislike it but I have been working with purple heart for awhile and it really brings out a cutting board, or table or whatever else you might be working on! The color is purple as it should be but expect it to fade over time but if you take the right steps you can protect the color some but nothing is forever. Perfect size perfect thickness I will always work with purple heart when I get a chance! Item came fast, pieces look great, will buy again! Attached is a Purple heart/leopard wood cutting board I made!

One piece out of six was damaged(cut was not straight). I cannot return.

Arrived on time and were for the most part excellent
All the board lengths were even. Some of the Padauk boards had some denting in them and a little warping. Different boards, same exact marks but they were not deep enough the planer did not take them out. I did have to use a jointer to straighten some of the edges. I got about 30 different boards from them just to try it out, probably 6 of the 30 needed jointed and sanded. Overall for quick easy at home projects good choice.

Purple Heart
I ordered a set of Purple Heart and Padauk which shipped fast. The padauk was vibrant and exactly what you think of. The Purple Heart was nowhere near as nice as the Padauk. Not a dig at the company as I know Purple Heart can be hit or miss. I’m just not able to make what I had planned with this.

50% not purple
I wanted to make cutting boards 6 pieces would be enough . Sadly only 3 of 6 boards have purpleheart color The other 3 a dull brown

Poor Quality or False Advertising
My friend ordered the purpleheart wood for me as a Birthday present. When it arrived, every single piece had almost no purple whatsoever. Im honestly questioning if it is even purpleheart wood at all. The taped piece of wood is a knife scale made of purpleheart I had from a while back that Im using to give a comparison for how different the wood color is. The wood itself doesnt seem bad, the grain isnt bad, but it isnt anywhere near what was ordered or what they show in their picture online.
