Even the screw holes lined up. It doesn't come pre-wired so you will have to solder the wires on but that's no biggy. It's better than the original battery box in that the battery just pops in and out rather than having to pull off and push on the terminal connection. Review: Perfect! A great upgrade! - These are great! They’re a really quick and easy upgrade to the standard battery boxes with the 9V clip-tail that always ends up breaking or letting you down on a gig. These have the convenience of blades that the battery simply presses against, and they’re sprung so they won’t ever wobble loose. They’re a straight-swap with most battery boxes, and I’ve ordered one for all 4 of my basses now.
