Solid and Robust with style
Sometimes it's nice to have tent pegs to match your tent, it's even better if those pegs aren't weak and likely to bend after a few uses.Because of the design of these pegs, you aren't going to be able to push them into the ground with your hands (except for very soft ground), like you would with a curved peg. But because of the design, it won't bend under strain. Making it exceptionally useful to use with guy ropes for high strain. The little notch near the top confidential holds the rope in place. The 'reflective' little guy rope attached to the top of pegs is sadly, not reflective. After shing your torch on them at night, you couldn't see them any better than not having them on top. Their only real purpose is to help pull the pegs out of the ground with, or to make them slightly more visible during the day. You can buy glow zip pullers to use if needed. In short, sturdy pretty tent pegs. Good for guy ropes.

Better than most standard tent pegs
Less likely to bend than the standard pegs you get with most tents but not as robust as you'd think. If you can push them into the ground by hand, you might as well use standard pegs. If you're pushing them in with your foot they're much less likely to bend than standard pegs. Still managed to bend one out of 8 used to peg out 2 tarps, so don't be overconfident in their toughness.

Good value, but not msr groundhogs
These look exactly (and I mean EXACTLY) like MSR Groundhog tent pegs, but they are made of thinner alloy and are easier to bend. I've never bent a groundhog. That's not to say they aren't any good. They are good value for money and excellent if you are pitching on fairly soft ground. I got some for our family tent and am quite content. I'd use something more robust in the mountains, however.

Do I dare use them
They look so beautiful and delicate, that I don't quite dare use them. Everything about these items is small. The ties to pull them out, just about allow for a finger to be stuck through. The hook for the wool on my grandmother's knitting needles was bigger than the 'rope' notch on these items, and they also were longer. Sure a beautiful high-tech design for the super professional mountain climber, conscious about weight and space, but nothing but a beautiful toy to today's ordinary camping giants.

Great
Really sturdy for such light weight pegs. Easy to see on the grass, holds ropes in place, very light, comes in a travel bag, going in an out of the ground was pretty easy too. None bent on first use nore did we feel like we were at risk of bending them. What more do you want in a tent peg?

Very pleased. Bought to replace terra nova pegs. Reduced weight and worked very well.

Easy to see
Easy to see when in the ground due to bright colour and easy to bang in with hammer or mallet
