essential book
I had high expectations for this book after reading Leo Babauta's zen habits and mnmlist blogs for years, and this book did not disappoint. Each week not only eases you into integrating the habit into your life, but also changes your mindset toward that habit and (if you so choose) other responsibilities/experiences/emotions as well. There are several chapters after the weekly assignments dealing with all other situations in which one must let go of expectations to survive and thrive.The advice for dealing with one's negative reactions is repeated several times throughout the book, and for good reason. The method felt too slow to me at first, but after many weeks of intentional practice this too has become its own habit - one that has gotten me through some periods of intense frustrations and stress without making rash decisions. Very well written, thank you.

SIMPLE & easy habit changes❣️
A great short version of SIMPLE steps to making new habits & changing old ones. This makes changing 5 or 6 habits...slow and easy...over a year instead of many attempts & failures at NONE annually...like I did in the past. You can use the same simple steps each time you work on a habit. For ME...simple and easy are what I needed because I always try to do too much too fast. BUY THIS BOOK for a better change in habit forming❣️

Great book for creating healthy habits by letting yourself off the hook
I am closing in on finishing my second week of reading/utilizing this book daily, and It's been worth the entire $6.99 and then some. I've been trying to start a consistent home yoga practice for more than a year now without much success. This book is teaching me that you can create healthy habits by letting yourself off the hook of eating the entire habit in one gulp. Having that movie in my mind of the long, intense, consistent yoga session was keeping me stuck. Too much all or nothing thinking. A consistent one minute daily practice - which has turned into more - plus the short daily reading has increased my habit self-esteem. I'm planning on eventually trying this on other habits as well. Great Tool.

There is nothing wrong with this book, it is just isn't exactly what I thought it was. I was looking more for a general read as opposed to a daily guideline.

A life-changing book if you are ready
I followed Leo Babauta's simple, careful method for creating a new habit, and now my mornings six days a week begin with 15 minutes of meditation. The habit seems to do itself, without my needing to apply willpower or discipline. I have been reading the book slowly each morning before my meditation and know there is lots more to act on. This book would make a beautiful, wise gift for yourself or anyone you love. I recommend it fully, with a grateful heart.

Not for me
Sorry for the author, but I'm a little confused about the usefulness of this kind of work. A simple set of Blog posts would have been less time consuming for all, and more useful. In a full 130 pages, the readers public is probably very limited in number.

So ein dünnes Buch und so großer Nutzen!Und genau nach meinem Stil geschrieben: Kurz und knapp die wichtigsten Infos, klare Handlungsanweisungen, strukturierte Vorgehensweise.Ich habe mir bereits zwei gute Gewohnheiten mit den Methoden in diesem Buch angewöhnt.Wenn ich rauchen würde, wäre das das ideale nächste Projekt, so werde ich mir etwas anderes suchen müssen, um auch seine Methode zum Abtrainieren schlechter Gewohnheiten auszuprobieren.
