This is a direct replacement for the exterior light fixture on a 2008 Roadtrek 170 Popular (Chevy Express) RV. In my case, the existing mounting was in an adequate condition to be left alone. I, therefore, replaced the old cracked plastic lens with the new one and have put the base, waterproof fittings and wiring away for another day. Tip for the day. Drill three holes in the lower downward facing edge of the lens before remounting, to allow both heat and any moisture to dissipate. Or not if you think it will allow small insects/moths attracted to the light to get inside. Just a thought.

This is a nice looking and very luminous light which was easy to install. It has foam type gaskets that form a seal between the trailer and the light casing, and between the lense and casing. I had moisture get into the lense probably because my trailer skin has such deep recesses and not a fault of the manufacture.Two things I would recommend for this light in an application such as mine is to add clear silicone around the outside casing of the light. I would also remove the sticker on the reflector inside the light to add a bit more reflective luminosity.
