Well made and smooth action. The perfect size that I was looking for to replace the OEM unit that came with the clock. 1-2-3 instructions that were easy to follow if you have never done this job before.Remember the number one rule when replacing your non-working unit: make sure you measure the length of the mechanism stem (base to unassembled tip [that is, take it off the old clock and remove the hands]) while taking note of the size of the hole in the clock base for a perfect fit! Your concern is the new hands will be the right presentation size for your clock AND clear any face covering if present.

I thought perhaps spending more might be better quality, but did not install well. Instructions not clear enough, did not fit clock. Don't know if accurate, as unable to assemble. Previous mechanism same size, but post hands fit too short. Keeping pieces in case other clocks break. But my favorite clock still not usable.

I think this DIY clock works was very professional well made. I had no difficulty replacing my old worn out parts. Just a word of caution to a first-timer. No pun intended .... be sure to measure as they suggest before placing your order. My replacement was just a tad too long. I'll measure twice the next time.

This accurately gauged stem and mount for the hands worked to perfection. The instructions were clear enough for my aged mind and body to mend an heirloom that has resumed perfect working condition.

The cost was reasonable.We had a old clock that stopped working. For a $12 investment I was able to fix it. It only took a few minutes and several seconds, and it works like new.

Our son made us a clock & after 4 years clock hands got bent & quit being accurate.These are much better quality and keep perfect time.

The product itself arrived ok but the directions weren’t clear that the second hand to be attached had to be at an angle to fit the screw. In trying to put it on the screw it bent, and therefore would no longer move properly. The hands are sooooo thin and easily bent that I see this as an inferior product.Donna
