Sony XBR-48A9S 48-inch MASTER Series BRAVIA OLED 4K Smart HDR TV - 2020 Model

It’s been almost 15 years since we bought our Bravia we replaced with this one. It’s been a great tv, but wow this is something! The picture is crisp and clear and bright. Almost 3d. The sound is great and as you can see even the cats like the realistic display and sound. The 48 inch size is perfect for our smaller den. Absolutely recommend.

This TV pulls the last millimeter out of the videos we film for our YouTube channel. It's amazing.To get accurate color, you have to go to custom, standard and cinema are useless.Sound comes from the screen, which is very cool, use the music setting for music, otherwise dialog is good.As expected, black is absolute black, but the colors and image quality are really astonishing.Our TV was not double box but arrived in OK condition. Many android apps to choose from. Nothing to fault here except the myriad of setup options can be a bit fiddly, like most TVs. I tuned off all the "motion" and the film cadence is fine. Upsampling of HD to 4K is exceptional.

This series of televisions are the bomb. I've got a 65 inch and now this 48 inch for the bedroom and they rock. Picture quality is incredible, streaming capabilities are many and easy to connect. If you want a quality television look no further. Price would be the only caveat, they are a little pricy but well worth the extra cost in my opinion.

I like the tv but I was torn between getting the LG C1 48 inch, the Samsung and the Sony I picked this one but I was disappointed to learn this tv does not have a refresh rate of 120hz and on the specs it says refresh rate 120hz so I would advise before you purchase a tv go on the actual site and look at the specs. Other than that I love the interface more than my lg oled and its easy to go to apps and find them like my roku qled tv and my fire tv I just wish I could game on the sony without going into game mode and diminishing the quality to get the full effect 😥. the first picture is sony and the last is LG and as you can see all LG hdmi ports are 120hz

We've owned this for about a month and a half and we are still in awe of its features. The clarity is fantastic, the colors amazing, the depth of black is spectacular and the sound emits from the screen, unbelievable!

In a word -frustrating. The picture is great and the built in speakers are decent, but I've had to reinstall all streaming apps and unplug and plug the TV several times to get it to function. I'm pretty tech savvy, but this TV is a mystery. It gets hung up a couple times a week when I switch between apps (Netflix, Apple, Hulu, etc.) or if I fast forward a program. No amount of waiting or button pushing on the remote works. The power button on the TV itself doesn't even work. The only solution is to unplug it and reset that way. I might have gotten a lemon, but these problems started about 6 months after I purchased it.Also, Hulu and Apple tends to drop out, but my Roku Box that used to be in the same location was rock solid with wifi signals. Overall, I would not buy this set again.

The best thing about this Sony is the superb picture quality. I "upgraded" from a 42" TV to a 48" TV since this was the smallest OLED Sony TV. I also wanted a TV with a substantial base, not a couple of small legs. The package arrived with a defective remote control. I called Sony and received a new remote the following week. The only negative was that I wanted delivery to the inside of my house with removal of the packaging. This is what I completed on the Amazon site, but when the TV was delivered, I was told by the driver that he didn't have time. I was not billed by Amazon for this service.

Beautiful picture!....fits my space perfectly...love the flat stand, you can't see the wires behind it, sits flush with tv stand..all the quality you expect from Sony, worth every penny....sound, remote, picture quality...its all excellent
